Hello hello! I'm back from my 3D/2N trip in Hong Kong! I had a blast, although I wish we stayed longer. But hey, I'm still thankful for the trip, my family, and the opportunity to visit a new country! I have tasted the city although we were pressed for time, and managed to shop even if we were budgeting our expenses. Well, we had to budget our cash or else, we'll end up spending on things that we don't really need. I'm also proud of myself because I have been a very careful, practical, considerate, and responsible shopper. It was my first- time in Hong Kong and surprisingly, I didn't buy a lot (even if I wanted to) because I've learned my lesson from my first- ever Singapore trip, wherein I kept on buying stuff from every place that I visit, and ended up with a lot of stuff that are somewhat similar to what I already have and much worse, I don't really need.
So here's my loot. I wanted to buy shoes, but most of the styles didn't impress me. I didn't buy clothes because there were a lot and I had no time to fit and look. :p
Missha The Style Perfect Concealer from Missha's flagship store in iSquare mall. :)
Woooo! Armani! It's like I saw my idol when I laid eyes on Giorgio Armani Cosmetics' airport counter. I picked up a blush. Was thinking of buying foundation and powder, but realized that I still have 10+ foundation bottles and compacts to go. :p That gold thing is YSL's newest lipstick called Rouge Pur Couture. I miss YSL so much. Hope somebody brings the brand back to the Philippines!
Sasa is HEAVEN. I spent 2 hours in that store! I just kept on looking and looking at every single makeup, and I almost hoarded! Since I've pledged to be practical in HK, I just picked up the following: Dolly Wink Volume Mascara, Shiseido Eyelash Curler, (which is VERY CHEAP, by the way) and Lash's Beauty Eye eyelash adhesive pack of 3. The eyeshadow brush and false eyelashes were from Bonjour, another huge makeup hub in Hong Kong.
Sasa seems like Asia's Sephora. It carries an array of Asian and Western cosmetic brands. It's a hub for Japanese makeups too! Sasa carries Lavshuca, Majolica Majorca, KATE, Fairy Drops Mascara, ZA, Canmake, Dolly Wink, Heroine, Dejavu, Imju Fiberwig, and a whole lot more. :)
FINALLY! I'm a Disneyland Virgin no more! We went to Hong Kong Disneyland last Friday and ended up hauling. LOL! Well, we went around and enjoyed the place but honestly, it's more of a shopping place because all the model houses in there are actually novelty stores! I picked up a Cheshire Cat tumbler because I love this Disney character, while the umbrella is an accidental purchase. It rained for an hour while we were in Disneyland and unfortunately, I forgot my umbrella in the hotel. Of course I didn't let the weather ruin our tour so I shelled out cash on this pricey Disneyland umbrella.
Well, no regrets with this pricey umbrella! I'll brave the incoming rainy season with cuteness and style! :D
The Pinoy in me: You have to admit that for us Pinoys, a shirt is the ultimate souvenir. This one is for me.
And my pasalubong to the BF!
Souvenir picture in plate!
A slim clutch- like laptop case from a pop- up accessories/trinkets/bags/stationary store inside K11 mall, and in front of Tin Cheung Camera store. Perhaps it's the most valuable thing I bought in Hong Kong. I've been looking for this kind of case here in the Philippines but alas, we don't have it here, let alone a laptop case where my 11" Macbook Air can fit in perfectly.
Its material is made from soft synthetic leather, and it's super lightweight!
I know you love your new home Sandy! :D
Market finds: $10 pouches I got from Mongkok, and a Babushka from a wholesale store in Nathan road.
But this Babushka doll set is a wee bit disappointing. Wanna know why?
NOW YOU KNOW. #EpicFailBabushka
And a package was waiting for me at home: Strip It's new wax variant called Chocolate Sugaring. Mmmm.. Chocolate. Sounds good, and I can't wait to use it! Thanks Strip It!
That's it! Will post my trip pictures this week! :D

angel: hi there! Sasa is the best place to go to when you're on the hunt for affordable makeup. Sasa is everywhere so you wouldn't have to stress yourself finding one. Shiseido is around 78HKD, around 400php+. One of the best powder foundation brands is MAC. Get it from the airport since it's cheaper there. :)
rowena: thanks! Hahaha I'm thinking of not giving it to him 'cos I like it too haha!
My mom bought the same thing. The Perfect Cover BB Cream is 228HKD, if I'm not mistaken. In php, it's around 1270+. It's more expensive here, but definitely cheaper in Korea. :)
Natawa ako bigla doon sa Babushka.. LOL
