The BF and I have been hearing a lot of buzz about Apartment 1B so for our monthsary, we decided to eat here.
Apartment 1B is situated at the private nook of One Rockwell Center. The first branch of Apartment 1B is located in Salcedo, Makati. They serve homestyle renditions of popular comfort foods such as Pasta and Porkchops.

Chicken Quesadilla- Smooth, creamy, and rich. This is perhaps the tastiest quesadilla I've ever tasted because it's not dry.
Vongole Pasta- I like my vongole light, and this tasted a bit too "green" for my taste due to to the bell peppers in it.
Grilled Porkchops- juicy and tasty. I love the apple sauce.
Meatloaf- Not mind blowing, but it's okay.
I just feel that the food is a bit overpriced given its quality. It's good, but too ordinary for its price. I appreciate comfort food the way it is but if a restaurant were to price it at higher rate, it better be a bit more special. (Like include a very special sauce, a unique side dish, or soak it in a secret marinade)

foods look yummy, the price is reasonable and the place,its really inviting and comfortable.so great.^_^
ReplyDeleteI agree, if the food are unique like the taste is dun mo lang matitikman okay lang na pricey pero kung ordinary dish and taste tapos medyo mahal parang hinde worth it.
