Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Series + Beauty Blogger Challenge

Guerlain's La Petite Robe Noire was such a hit last year, it deserves a relaunch. I still have mine and it's one of my highly- used fragrances (I should get one soon because it's almost empty!) because it's one of the best gourmand fragrances in my opinion-it's so young and chic, and doesn't give me a headache!

Guerlain Philippines invited me and a couple of Beauty Bloggers to a day filled with games, challenges, macarons, and pink lemonade for the relaunch of this fragrance and to celebrate the newest La Petite Robe Noire.

The mini launch happened at the pop-up store of Guerlain in SM Aura. It's still there and open to the public so please drop by for makeovers if you're in the area!

First game was about identifying our La Petite Robe Noire personality. The first photo in this post shows you the questions we had to answer to find which LPRN fragrance suits us. I'm mostly Cs and I'm La Petite Robe Noire Couture, the newest fragrance!

Now here's the most challenging part of the event: A makeup interpretation of the La Petite Robe Noire perfumes. We were divided into three groups and tasked to interpret each fragrance with a set of Guerlain makeups, but we were allowed to add three more of our choice. Now click READ MORE and see my makeup interpretation of La Petite Robe Noire EDP!

Before I reveal the look, let me introduce you to La Petite Robe Noire Couture EDT. This audacious new fragrance embodies the glamorous woman who's always dressed to the nines and treats the world as her runway!

This sparkling, sexy, and eccentric fragrance has Bergamot and Raspberry in the top notes, the signature opening notes of the La Petite Robe Noire fragrances, heart notes feature Rose, and base notes have Patchouli, Vetiver, Tonka Bean, and Moss.

So what's your La Petite Robe Noire personality?

La Petite Robe Noire EDP- Elegant and Charming
La Petite Robe Noire EDT- Young and Cheerful
La Petite Robe Noire Couture- Fascinating and Glamorous

So here's my makeup interpretation of La Petite Robe Noire EDP. I wasn't really prepared for this challenge as I'm no makeup artist, but I had to do it! At first, I didn't know what I was doing-I just kept on grabbing stuff from the makeup counter and used it on Rochelle, my model for the day. I was only able to organize my thoughts a few minutes before the challenge ended!

My interpretation for La Petite Robe Noire EDP is young and daring. It's the deepest of all three fragrances, but there's still a cheery vibe lingering in it. It's a night time fragrance, but instead of going for a smokey eye, I kept the entire complexion and eyes transparent and glowing to compliment her age, and focused on the lips by using a commanding lip color. I imagined that the wearer of La Petite Robe Noire EDP is a classy, young lady who knows what she wants and gets it.

Rochelle has a very nice set of eyes and it made my job a whole lot easier. She's blessed with thick lashes too that I didn't feel the need to use eyeliner so I only applied a rich, black mascara on her upper and lower lashes to enhance 'em even more.

Complexion: Guerlain Teint Jolie, Parure Gold Compact Powder Foundation, Terracotta Bronzer
Eyes: Ecrin 2 Couleurs in Two Candy, Noir G Mascara, Terracotta Bronzer
Lips: Rouge De Guerlain in Rose Grenat

Hope she liked the makeup! :D

For the final challenge, we were asked to explain and defend our makeup interpretations.

It was my lucky day because I was one of the winners! My look won along with Dior Co (for La Petite Robe Noire Couture) and Angela Nepomuceno's (La Petite Robe Noire EDT) works!

Dior, Angela, and I's winning looks are displayed in Guerlain's pop-up store at SM Aura. Just drop by and ask the SAs there to recreate the look/s on you! ;)

That's all, folks! Just visit any Guerlain counter to check out the La Petite Robe Noire series. ;)
