THE VERDICT:
At merely P375, I did not expect much from Yadah Auto Lip Crayon, but my perception about it has changed when I swatched it one time. I could not believe that there's a lip crayon that's really good, but doesn't cost above P500.00! This product is a frugal girl's alternative to Clinique Chubby Stick Intense!

This product promises intense, long- wearing color with a soft matte finish. Contains Macadamia Ternifolia Oil for intense nourishment. It comes in 7 shades.
Ingredients
These automatic lip crayons look pretty classy and don't look like P500.00 at all. They have a uniform sweet floral scent, which I dislike, honestly. :p

07 Rose Beige
- A warm coral shade.
There's nothing Rose nor Beige about this shade so I don't really know why it's called as such. It's a warm shade of coral to me and amazingly, it doesn't make my teeth appear garish. On warm skin tones, it tends to appear nude-ish and it's lovely; it's one of those rare nude corals that look great on morena skin and doesn't make teeth appear yellowish. Unfortunately, payoff is kinda' patchy.
06 Plum Burgundy
- A Plum Red shade.
Well, this one's accurately named and hey! It's a lovely shade! :D Plum Burgundy is a deep red shade that's like a lighter, glossier version of MAC Diva. This one looks really, really pretty on warm skin tones; in fact, it makes warm skin tones look more alive! Such a keeper!
The products have varying finishes and the soft matte finish claim is only true for some shades. Rose Beige offers a soft matte finish while Plum Burgundy has a satin finish. Both shades have good staying power and are very moisturizing, at least.
Yadah Auto Lip Crayon is an affordable dupe of Clinique Chubby Stick Intense: it's as pigmented and moisturizing, but the former stays on a lil' bit longer than the latter. I suggest you go for the bolder, satin colors in this range!

wow the color pays off! i like the 07 Rose Beige (makeup tutorial please on the first image above while wearing this lippie) i think it is a korean brand (just by looking at the box label) what can i ask for more ms m, it was reasonably priced plus it is matte!

DeleteHow unfortunate! Rose Beige is a bit patchy. Hmmm. But I will still check them out. I'm more curious about their skin care line. I like Korean skin care in general so I have high hopes with this brand. I used to not notice them when I pass by Beauty Bar but I guess I might just have to swatch a few items. Thanks for this post!

DeleteAi like ko 'to...I like the satin finish of the plum burgundy better since my lips tend to flake when I wear matte...this shade of red is flattering to both morena and fair skin tones...Are there other shades available though?

DeleteI've only tried Yadah's tinted lip balm and sun block :) I'll look for the other shades and see if a color catches my eye. Sayang rose beige is patchy :(

DeleteWaaah! This reviee is very helpful! I've always been curious about Yadah's Lip Crayons. I had my doubts as well because they're cheaper than most Korean brands. I really like Rose Beige, parang MLBB ang dating pero sayang dahil patchy ang labas. I think I might go to Beauty Bar to see other shades as well. Thanks for this review, Martha!

DeleteI have been hearing a lot about Yadah's lately and now finally, with this review, I am convinced to try even just one shade. 06 Plum Burgundy rocks! It's somehow similar to Happy Skin's Hot Stuff, right? I so love that one and it gives me a rock star/ tough chick look. I think I'll get 06 since it's more affordable (and has the same shade, for me).
