It's APEC next week and traffic's real bad now because everyone's scrambling to get out of Manila. :p
I was planning a Bora vacation for the APEC week, but bummer, it will be no fly zone for that whole week (thanks for the "vacation", guys!). Still, I am fervently hoping to have a vacation before crazy December!
Before I go looking for a beach to go to near Manila, let me leave you with today's FMF:
Hi Martha!
Please do an updated version of your favorite foundation for oily skin. I always take your suggestions because we have the same skin type. Looking forward to your response. Thank you!

Hey Crae!
Thanks for trusting my recommendations!
I have encountered a lot of pretty good foundations lately. Here are the ones that made it to the cut:
-A super lightweight foundation that has superb concealing powers; its texture won't clog pores!
- An affordable yet surprisingly good liquid foundation. It has Silicone that keeps oil at bay so makeup will look fresher for longer.
3. MAQUILLAGE TRUE KEEP LIQUID FOUNDATION
- One of the longest wearing foundations I've used, plus it yields a dewy matte finish that doesn't feel drying and look mask- like!
- This foundation has a fresh, liquid texture that won't make oily skin feel 'thick' plus it's oil- free.
5. INGLOT STICK FOUNDATION
- A new wonderful discovery for me lately: this portable cream foundation has a sheer texture yet great coverage!
Have a happy looooong holiday! :)

Your 5 foundations on your list is calling out my name. I want to try them all but I'll go for celeteque first. Hehe. Anyway, I've been loving right now my L'Oreal true match foundation:) so happy that I found my true match in G2. Endorser lang ang peg:D seriously, I love it. Will try celeteque next as I really want to try that too:)
ReplyDeleteAs expected MUFE's included in you list! (They're perfect for me).
ReplyDeletei love to have foundations but i don't have the time to use it. *sigh* hahaha! :D
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks for the recommendations, Ms. Martha! My face is oily, and you can fry and egg on it. This post clears the confusion on what foundation to look for, and narrows down the choices especially for the ladies with oily faces. Kudos!
ReplyDeleteCeleteque has silicone? So it has the ingredient of a primer? No wonder it can make makeup last long. This was the only foundation on your list that i can afford but thanks for your recommendations!
ReplyDeleteI super love your foundation recommendations. I'm so lucky because the shades that you recommend suits me best :)
ReplyDeleteGood thing our flight on the 20th is not cancelled. I hate to re-book since everything's already settled.
ReplyDeleteI love to try everything on your list! But would get Celeteque first since it's the most affordable among the bunch. Hehe
These are all great recommendations for anyone with oily skin. I'm glad Inglot's newest Stick Foundation is one of them. Thanks!
