Normally, I'd wear loud colors to welcome the incoming year energetically, boldly, and happily, but 2015 has been really crazy so I decided to approach 2016 on a gentler note...gentle, but still with power and a hint of craziness boiling within me. I am portraying what I want to be in 2016 in my New Year countdown makeup look now: simple, classy, soft, yet there's boldness projecting through.
Products used:
1. BYS Matte eyeshadow palette
2. Smashbox 24-Hr. Photofinish Shadow Primer
3. Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Liner (Black Ink)
6. Etude House Curl Mascara (Black)
Step 1: Apply a matte cream shadow on your lower lid all the way to the crease area.
Step 2: Grab a matte midtone brown eyeshadow and apply on the above crease and sweep all the way to your crease.
Step 3: Get a matte dark brown/chocolate brown eyeshadow. We're going to create strong definition here so dot the color on your outer crease and slightly blur out the edges for a well- blended look; don't blend beyond the outer crease to maintain the strong definition.
The final look:
FACE:
Kryolan Anti-Shine Powder
BYS Contour and Highlighting Palette (Goddess)
LIPS:
LA Splash Lip Couture (Ghoulish)
Happy New Year, everyone. I sincerely wish that this will be your best year yet. :)
