French Tips Nail Parlour Review

Whenever one hears the word "French", thoughts of luxury, excessiveness, and glamour come to mind. Well I guess the French really know class!

There's a nail salon at SM Mega Fashion Hall and it's heavily inspired by the elegance of the French culture: French Tips Nail Parlour.

French Tips is by the same company that manages Nail-A-Holics; they aim to offer an indulgent, premium nail spa experience to discerning customers. Upon entering the salon, I was wowed by their excessive yet beautifully done interior that brings to mind the chic countrysides of France.

What sets French Tips apart from your usual salon?

Customizable nail spa experience.

French Tips takes the nail salon experience to the next level by letting you customize your spa packages. For the spa packages, you can customize the scent of your foot soak and foot scrub; choose from their array of fragrances namely Rose, Olive, and Lavender to name a few.

If you're going to add a hand and foot mask (which you should because their formula really helps smooth the skin!), you can customize it too! Take note, even for basic services like manicure and pedicure, you can customize your foot soak and scrubs as well.

Now onto the nitty gritty of my experience. I chose a mani-pedi package with additional hand and foot mask. Packages start at P1,000.00+: Service was pretty much on point; my aestheticians for the day were pretty quick and they never made me wait for too long while they were preparing for my treatment. I also appreciate the right amount of chattiness of the aestheticians; I felt entertained and relaxed at the same time; I dislike it when aestheticians are very chatty to the point that they're nosy already (believe it or not, there are nail salon aestheticians who would try to ask personal questions!). The actual service was great: I did not get a wound and God, oh God, the pedicurist was able to remove my dry skin painlessly so kudos to her (Sorry, I forgot your name, but you know who you are. You are amazing!)! I'd also like to point out that the salon is using premium nail polish brands such as Zoya and OPI, two of my favorite premium nail polish brands.

However, I feel that the items such as the towels and tubs are pretty old already and need to be changed; they disrupt the luxury feel of the salon and service.

Overall, I've had a pleasant experience with French Tips Nail Parlour. Will I come back? If there's one near my place, I would. I'd recommend it to you if you're in the area and you don't mind paying for a little more for a great nail spa experience.

French Tips Nail Parlour has branches at SM Mega Fashion Hall and Fairview Terraces.

  1. The interior design is nice-looking and appealing to me. It's really great idea that you can customize the service you wanted. For its price, I think its fair enough as it offers great service and products too:D

  9. Yes, I agree. Worst salon. And I've tried a lot. Recently got a gel pedicure and the nail tech cut me. The next day, it was already infected. What irked me was after she cut me, she appeared to try to cover up by brushing off the blood using the dirty nail brush. But of course, I felt pain so I looked over. I had to tell her to stop because it was already bleeding. Mukhang itutuloy pa nya dapat. Had to take antibiotics after. Let's not even talk about blood borne illnesses like hepatitis or HIV.
