Here's a review on L'Oreal Micellar Water (Refreshing and Moisturizing).

THE VERDICT:

I've been fond of cleansing water lately and I'm might glad to try out L'Oreal's versions of Micellar Water. Here's what I think about it.

L'OREAL MICELLAR WATER IN DETAIL

Powerful cleansing water in refreshing and moisturizing variants.

Left: Refreshing ingredients
Right: Moisturizing ingredients

L'OREAL MICELLAR WATER IN ACTION

It's basically just like any micellar water in terms of consistency. It removes a lot of makeup in one go, but I always choose to do a second round of cleansing for a sure sweep. There's little to no difference between the two in terms of effect, except the Moisturizing variant tends to feel a bit more moist than the Refreshing variant. How does it compare with Maybelline Micellar Water? Pretty much the same, except L'Oreal offers two variants for a more specific clean and effect.

As with all Micellar Water products, these don't effectively remove waterproof mascara, but for the rest of my makeup, it cleans it in a snap! If you have oily skin, go for Refreshing. If you have dry skin, go for moisturizing. Finally, we don't have to put a dent on our wallet just to try Micellar Water!

  1. I'm so happy that affordable micellar water is finally available here in the Philippines! I'm currently using the one from Maybelling and I'll definitely try the L'oreal one when I run out. Thanks for introducing us to knew products Martha! <3

  3. Ohhhh I'm leaning towards this one over Maybelline's. They have a similar price point, but I like how L'Oreal has target areas to cover :) Btw Ms. Martha, have you seen the new shades from Pink Sugar's lip and cheek tints? They are to die for!!! I'm gonna wait for your thoughts on themmm <3

  4. I still haven't bought Maybelline's and I think that I would prefer this more because it offers two different types of it. This is really affordable actually seeing that it has 250 ml, that's pretty good.

  5. What's the difference between micellar water and the (should I say) 'ordinary' or 'regular' makeup remover? Or is it exactly the same? If it's different with the 'ordinary' makeup remover, what makes it special? I've tried Bifesta's makeup remover, is micellar water very much like that? Enlighten me, Ms. Martha. Thanks!

I still prefer Loreal micellar water than Maybelline. Really need to go to the nearest department store to buy this. Really love this  aside it comes with two variants but also for its student friendly price. 😍😍 I went to the department store yesterday with my friends, we're loving the Pink Sugar products. ❤❤ I hope you could get a review on their lippies aside from the one you posted about the Lip Crayons last week. Thank you for this review Ms. Martha! Have a great weekend!

  7. I haven't hopped in the micellar bandwagon yet as I am still pleased with my cleansing oils being able to take care of waterproof makeup and eyeliner/mascara. But I don't think it's helping my oily skin. Would you recommend using this more than cleansing oil?

  8. I was supposed to ask if which one is better yung Maybelline or this one, hehe and there you are! Almost the same lang pala sila. Thanks for comparing the two Ms.M. Much cheaper lang ng konti Maybelline. Yun lang, it can't remove waterproof mascaras.

  10. I tried Maybellines' Micellar Water and I agree that it's not removing waterproof eyemakeup. But I wanted to try L'oreals take on it because it has two variants and I love L'oreal too.

  14. Saw a lot of blogs and reviews about this. Parang isang swipe pa lang ata nakakatanggal na talaga sya ng make-up. And yung price is di naman ganun kamahal. Gusto ko din bumili nyan hehe :)
