Thank goodness Typhoon Karen has just left the country, but Typhoon Lawin is coming today according to PAGASA. Guys, please stay safe today and go home if you have no any other important business outdoors. Let us all pray for our fellow Filipinos in areas that will be directly hit by the storm.
I digress. I'm musing today about my favorites from last month. Check it out!
1. KAT VON D LOCK IT FOUNDATION
- Hands down, one of the best, full coverage foundations there is. It literally lasts the whole day and the coverage it gives is superb that I can skip primer, concealer, and corrector!
- This sponge is affordable, but works just as good as Beauty Blender. I'm getting back ups!
3. BOBBIE COSMETICS INTO THE NUDES EYE SHADOW PALETTE
- An affordable eye shadow palette that can pass off as a good dupe for Urban Decay Naked 1. The shadows have a nice, smooth texture and pigmentation is great!
- A famous powder used for makeup baking. It's a smoothing powder that gives foundation that extra 'oomph' and helps prolong the look of foundation on the skin.
- A lasting lipstick with a soft, gentle matte finish. Love that this one doesn't feel sticky at all, but stays put!
Do share with me your favorite beauty finds for last month!

I gotta try that Coty Airspun Powder! It's like, everywhere I look, I see it! My September fave would be the Farm Stem Grape Stem Cell I recently purchased plus Cathy Doll's L-Gluta Magic Cream/Sunscreen. Both products made my skin even & brighter it also worked wonders on my darks spots/pimple scars.
ReplyDeleteI love reading bloggers' monthly favorites, it makes me go okay-i'll-buy-that-soon-too all the time, haha! I haven't seen that Bobbie Cosmetics palette yet but it looks so cute! I actually don't own any palette because I'm a make up newbie, lol, I'm still not good in applying eye shadow, hope I can practice more ofter and be good at it.
ReplyDeleteOh, the Coty Airspun powder! I've seen a makeup artist raved about this on IG earlier today! My September favorites were the Biorè UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence, Revlon Matte Balm in Sultry and Belo Baby lotion... i love, love, love the scent!
ReplyDeleteType ko ung Bobbie Cosmetics Into the Nudes Eyeshadow Palette mo Ms. Martha
ReplyDeleteOMG! I read your article about the BYS blending sponge. I was gonna buy the beauty blender sana from beautymnl pero sold out na. So I guess it's a sign that I should try the BYS first? Haha. Thanks again for sharing your monthly favorites with your readers. <3
ReplyDeleteI saw the COTY AIRSPUN POWDER TRANSLUCENT EXTRA COVERAGE in BeautyMNL a little bit higher for the price of 650, but I wanted to try them because I saw how it sets your make up and the way it makes your face really soft and nice looking!
ReplyDeleteMy September fave is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost, my sister and I have tried it, and it's very promising. <3 Also, I'm interested in buying the BYS Brow Kit, it's affordable and from a trusted brand, so why not take the chance, right? <3
ReplyDeleteI heard that Coty Airspun Loose Powder is currently out of stock at chedelyn cosmetics. 😭😭 I really like to buy this one cause I saw a post on instagram that it is soooo effective, but when you introduce this on your blog I'm convinced to buy this already but when I saw that they are raving about this on IG, I can't wait to have mine as well. Thank you for introducing must have products to your followers Ms. Martha! You're really are the best. More Power!
ReplyDeleteOut of stock din sa BeautyMNL kahapon meron pa, kaso hindi ko inorder agad :(
DeleteReally? Popular na talaga si coty loose powder. Hay dami kasi talagang nagrarave na super effective tong product na to. 😭😭😭
DeleteThe BYS blending sponge is so cute, I'll be getting one :)
ReplyDeleteInterested about Bobbie Cosmetics Palette and Kat VOn D Lock It Foundation.. Pop Beauty is a favorite brand of mine, their products are truly amazing!
I love how you included a variety of products in this month's favorites--it's nice to know that high end to budget beauty finds are always welcome in your arsenal and to me, that just sounds honest af. I mean, it's a pleasure to see you be honest in your reviews and impressions not pandering to pricey brands or belittling the affordable ones. Keep them up Ms. Martha! <3
ReplyDeleteI will definitely buy that BYS sponge! My faves are Inisfree's no sebum mineral powder, Skin Genie's lip & cheek stain in peach, and w7's in the night palette. Love love love.
ReplyDeleteWith just the word prolong it really made me look at it one more time. Hahahahahaha. So I won't have to bother retouching over and over and over again.
ReplyDeleteNaeengganyo akong bumili nung BYS blending sponge. If I remember it right, yung Coty Airspun powder ginagamit din sya ng ibang bloggers for baking. Parang yan kasi yung nakikita ko sa mga make-up tutorials sa youtube. So mukhang maganda talaga yan :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with most of the comments, the blending sponge is a favorite of mine also
ReplyDeleteI remember Coty Airspun powder in my lola's vanity :) I used to make fun of this powder and call it pang-lola, imagine it now being raved about in the beauty industry. Ms Martha, how is the kat Von D foundation compared to Estee Lauder Double wear since both are full coverage? I'm badly in need of one. Thanks
ReplyDeleteHow much is the BYS sponge and Kat Von D foundation? looking forward to try Coty Air Spun!!!
ReplyDeleteLet me know what you think of this post! :)
