Covergirl has good bases for everyday, but little did I know that they have great ones for primer as well! My current favorite from them is Tru Blend Face Primer For Combo Skin; it's my go- to primer for everyday as well!

When some face primers for combination skin feel either thick, heavy, or silicone, this one is a refreshing take as it comes as a runny liquid similar to a moisturizer; this is what I like about this primer. It is unscented and goes on smoothly; as you blend it you feel that it's slowly losing its slip, a sign that its primer properties are being activated, but it leaves the face feeling light and coverage is breathable
The formula helps improve the coverage of makeup and provides a smooth canvas; staying power is good: it helps control oil for a good 4 hours before my T-Zone becomes shiny. I would say that this primer would be a perfect one for those who always wear makeup..make ones face a perfect canvass. But as for me, I used either the Cover FX primer (cheaper 😊) or the Benefit Porefessional (gift by a cousin)..but it wouldn't harm me if I try it in the near future. So as to achieve that smooth canvass look too! 😊

DeleteI don't really use primer now since I dislike the silicone feel. Knowing that this one is moisturizer like consistency makes me want to try it. Will surely grab this one if ever I'll feel a need for a face primer. Thanks for the review Ms. Martha! :)

DeleteLove the fact that it's moisturizing. Encountered some which are too sticky (won't mention the brand anyway) Para lang syang lotion upon application. 😊
