'Tis the season to sweaty because it's officially summer in the Philippines! Last Wednesday, the temperature hit 41 degrees! I commuted that day and the heat was so grueling, I felt dizzy a couple of times while commuting. Good thing I had water with me! Always stay hydrated, guys, to prevent heat stroke and dehydration!
It's also the season to be oily; I don't know 'bout you, but my skin's so oily lately that's why I've been abusing my clay masks!
Here are 5 of my favorite clay masks that are effective in removing extra oil from your face!
- A fresh clay mask that's lightweight and yields a cooling sensation that helps refresh the skin and minimize pores.
- An oil- absorbing, dirt- pulling mask that does not only remove oil, but helps clean skin thoroughly too.
- A famous clay mask by Lush. It has peppermint that helps cool skin, provides a light exfoliating effect, and helps combat acne too.
- An affordable clay mask range that's rich and purifying, plus comes in different variants to cater to different skin types.
- The Internet- famous mask that tightens to relax muscles, cleans pores, and helps refresh really oily skin.

Definitely Innisfree! I'm using it twice a week. Super nice ng feeling after :)
ReplyDeleteHaven’t tried clay masks, but I regularly use facial masks which I requested from my father during his Japan trip. It’s so refreshing and soothing especially during this weather. Would like to try the one from Innisfree in your list!
ReplyDeleteMy current most favorite is the Aztec Clay mask, which I bought in a takal size to try ended loving it and ask my bro-in-law to buy me one from abroad. Aside for helping me with my oiliness it also helps drying up my pimple breakouts. The Innisfree is my next try on clay mask, good thing there are trial sachets of Korean products that we could try. Hope this brings great effect too.
ReplyDeleteHi Martha, if I may ask, where can I buy a legit aztec clay ,ask?
ReplyDeleteIt’s been my third time to use the aztec clay mask (which I use once a week) and I can say that it reduced the oiliness of my face. It really helps! ❤️❤️ Next Target that I’m going to use is the one from Innisfree which is that super volcanic pore clay mask. Reviews are good so I’m gonna give it a try!!
ReplyDeleteYes! It’s a mut to stay hydrated! I can totally finish 10 tumblers of cold water a day. Yay! ❤️❤️
True! The heat is not tolerable already most of the time. I love the innisfree... i bought lots of sachet to try it out and contemplating to buy the tub. I am also wanting to try the loreal clay mask but then the Aztec mask came in. haha.. I tried the Aztec clay mask one night and I must say that it was really pulpitating!!! But the following day, I broke out so I opted to stop it since I will be going to a party in a few days.
ReplyDeleteHimalaya herbel mask works for me too.
ReplyDeleteOh I forgot vedette too.
ReplyDeleteQueen Helene’s Mint Julep Clay Mask is really refreshing! I also like Innisfree’s.
ReplyDeleteWow this ones is a really good review about clay mask kasi ang dami dami na nila bes! We really dont know which is good which is not.I've try it once from freebies pa,but now that i know which is good wanna try the famous one
ReplyDeleteI havent tried anything on this mask ate martha pero based on what I watched amd reed. Maganda daw talaga yung aztec and innisfree.
ReplyDeleteIm currently using the Aztec clay mask and this really does wonders on my skin 💙💙💙 this has become my favorite though i haven't tried other brand.
ReplyDeleteBet na bet ko yung Aztec clay mask Ms. Martha! nakakakinis talaga at iba ang smoothness after! Buti nalang binigyan ako ng sample ng friend ko kaya napabili na ako ng full size. 💐
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried any of those masks above especially the very popular Aztec Mask - laging oos sa Healthy Options HAHA! What I've tried is young kay Cleopatra's Secret, parang ugn aztec masks din pero mas nauna ko to nadiscover kesa duns a sa Aztec Masks. Meron siyang iba't ibang types of masks depende sa gusto mong gamit, like for pimples, for glowing skin for underarms and meron din siyang carbonated charcoal. I've tried it once in a while pero wala, tamad talaga ako mg masks siguro dahil nakasalamin ako and if ngmamasks kelangan naka tanggal so pag walang salamin wala ako magagawa dahil wala ako makita LOL!
ReplyDeleteI have the Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Masks and dapat ko na syang gamitin. Minsan kase tinatamad ako eh.
ReplyDeleteLet me know what you think of this post! :)
