You know, I wasn't really planning on getting this powder, but the SA insisted to try it on my face. By then, she didn't have to do further selling to me because I was immediately sold when this powder touched my skin! Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro Powder is airbrush in a compact and it's an instant smoothing solution for super flawless, superstar skin!

According to Charlotte Tilbury official website: Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro Powder is:

• Soft Focus Nano-Particles blur away lines and imperfections, and sit like a soft micro-fine cashmere veil on top of your skin

• Rose wax and almond oil hydrate the skin throughout the day and smoothes flawlessly onto the skin

• Nourishing actives work to soothe and restore skin, while light-reflecting ingredients diffuse light as it hits your face for a luminous complexion and even finish all day

Ingredients

The powder comes in a glistening rose gold compact; I could stare at it old day. I've no words on how gorgeous the packaging is! Rose Gold is love!

The powder only comes in three shades: Fair, Medium, and Dark. Quite limited options, but since the powders are semi- translucent, they somehow suit a variety of shades. I thought my shade match was Dark, but Medium suits me just fine. Dark was already a bit pinkish in tone and Medium is more on the yellow side so I went for it.

Texture is silky and fine; when swatched, the powder yields sheer to medium coverage; it's meant to be a finishing powder so don't expect a lot of coverage from it. It is unscented and it applies easily on the skin. Despite the sheer texture, it mattifies skin in an instant, yet allows naturalness to come through. I find that this powder works perfectly either as a setting powder or a finishing powder.

Here's a regular translucent powder vs. Charlotte Tilbury's legendary finishing powder. The right side looks significantly smoother: lines and pores were blurred, texture looks more fine, surface looks more even, and it's as if I've been completing my 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day; it looks incredibly healthy! P.S. I only applied two layers of the powder to achieve this super smooth effect! I think the Almond Oil and Rose wax ingredients help provide this desirable smoothing effect.

TBJ TIP: The powder is best applied with a semi- large fluffy powder brush.

I use this as a setting and finishing powder; it does a great job at improving the look of foundation and has pretty impressive oil control too. I also love using this powder to add a smoothing effect to whatever powder and foundation I use.

Overall, this is a wonderful multi-tasking powder. No wonder fans are raving about this and why some of my makeup addict friends have this in their kits! I don't recall liking a pressed powder this much, most especially a pressed powder THIS expensive! Charlotte Tilbury did a wonderful job at this powder and for sure, I shall repurchase!
