THE VERDICT:

Hey, hey, hey! What do we have here?! A new product by Pink Sugar and it's Our Lil' Secret All Day Matte Powder! It's the latest addition of Pink Sugar to the Our Lil' Secret range and it also completes the entire line.

Whenever I hear that a brand comes up with a new powder, most especially if it's affordable, I'm like a catto who gets all too excited when she hears her master say "Treats!" Because I eat (figuratively) powder on a monthly basis; it's one of my most used makeup products!

How does this product fare? Is it really long- lasting? You'll be surprised.

I haven't found any information on Pink Sugar's official website yet as I believe that this product is very new; it doesn't look like it's already launched, but hopefully, it will be available very soon.

Our Lil' Secret All Day Matte comes in three shades: from left to right, we have Light Warm (fair), Beige (Medium), and Medium Beige (Dark). I like the compactness of the packaging and the simple logo, but I'm wondering why is there no mirror and sponge? I hope these are just prototypes and the actual products for retail will have these essentials.

The powder has a smooth, matte texture; it is unscented; the product works whether you use a sponge or brush with it, but personally, I like using a brush.

Our Lil' Secret All Day Matte Powder in Medium Beige

At first, I though that the powder would be too light, but when mixed with the foundation, it sort of balanced each other out. Check out the photo below:

I turned all the lights in the room on for a better look at the finish.

The Our Lil' Secret line is long- wearing and with the powder, my makeup lasted the whole day with very minimal retouching!

But what if we use the powder on its own?

On its own, Medium Beige is a tad bit lighter on me, but nothing significant. Besides, the powder oxidizes for a wee bit that it ends up matching my skin tone. Coverage is light to medium.

Here's the powder; decent, light finish that's great for everyday. Medium Beige look like NC40- ish on me, which is 1 shade lighter. Not a biggie for me though if I'm just going to casually stroll around the neighborhood.

Me with zero retouching for 5 hours. Heeeeyyyyy...this is so cool! I never expected that it would have really good staying power because it's just a powder, but I forgot that it's Our Lil' Secret, Pink Sugar's range of long- lasting bases.

Pink Sugar did a pretty good job with the formula: I love that it can be used whether as a setting or blotting powder and staying power is very good, but hopefully, there will be a mirror, sponge, and bigger shade selection.
