I get a lot of compliments for my
pin straight, fine hair; some say they wish theirs is as manageable and easy to
maintain. While there’s certainly an advantage to having hair that is probably
the easiest to maintain in the world, it still has its challenge; and this
challenge can be persistent and can be blatantly obvious on fine hair, thus
making me look unkempt most of the time.
Enter FRIZZ!
Yup, frizz is a big problem of
mine. After blow- drying, my hair strands are just everywhere, and it makes me
look as if I haven’t combed my hair properly; let’s not even talk about getting
caught up in a windy situation outdoors. There are a lot of factors behind
frizzy hair; one of which is having fine hair, plus environmental damage and
damage brought upon by salon treatments and styling. Regardless of the cause,
every gal with frizzy hair just wants it to be solved.
That’s
why I’m always searching and up for trying products that help combat frizz;
glad to know that one of the hair care products I personally use, Moringa O2,
has an anti- frizz version. I’m a user of their first variant, Anti-Hair Fall +
Revitalizing (review HERE!), and I just have to try this one. I used it for one
week and I’m sharing my results!
Moringa-O2 Herbal Anti-Frizz
Shampoo and Conditioner contain Argan Oil, Moringa, Olive, and Omega oils for
intense nourishment and moisturizing effect. The line features Triple Layering
Effect, a patented technology of oil encapsulation that promotes faster and
deeper absorption of the essential oils for extra smoothing, nourishing, and
frizz- fighting effects.
Moringa-O2 Herbal Hair Relaxing
Serum++ is an oil- based hair treatment that promises nourishing, anti- frizz,
and revitalizing effects; it contains Moringa, Argan, Sunflower, Olive, and
Husk oil to deliver intense smoothing benefits.
L- Shampoo
R- Conditioner
The shampoo is a clear, rich
liquid with a light fruity floral fragrance; it does not lather up too much,
which helps prevent hair from becoming too dry, ergo too frizzy, but it does
create enough lather to make you feel that the product is indeed cleansing your
hair. It does not make my hair feel dry after rinsing, plus it rinses off
easily.
The conditioner is a light cream;
compared to the first Moringa O2 conditioner, it is much more moisturizing in
the beginning and leaves hair pretty soft after rinsing.
Herbal Hair Relaxing Serum++
Moringa-O2’s serum is a favorite
of me and my husband; instructions say that it’s recommended to be used at
least three times a week, but we personally use it every day because it is not
sticky, gets absorbed fast, and makes blow- drying oh-so-lovely.
Let’s get on with the challenge.
I documented my one week usage with these products:
Starting point. So this is my
hair’s condition before using the products: it’s very dry, perpetually frizzy, and frankly needs a makeover LOL.
DAY 1: So here’s my hair after shampooing and conditioning my hair
with the products. First significant different I noticed was it completely
smoothed my hair, gave it a nice shine, and tamed a bit of dryness and frizz on
the middle and end portion; I wasn’t expecting the instant effect since it’s my
first time to use the products, but hey, the results speak for itself!
I used Herbal Relaxing Hair
Serum++ before blow- drying. It made blow- drying (and detangling) completely
easier and prevented my hair from looking frizzier, which is my experience most
of the time after blow- drying my hair without the serum. The serum acts as a
heat protectant and smoothing agent.
DAY 4: I thought to myself, “hey,
I’m going to try to see if the shampoo and conditioner will really have an
anti- frizz effect without the hair oil”. So from day 2 to day 4, I only
used the shampoo and conditioner without the hair oil or any leave in
whatsoever and look ma, it’s smoother than day 1! I just combed my hair neatly
for this picture; no hair oil applied to make it look smoother and to lessen
the frizz; no kidding!
DAY 7: Frizz? What frizz? It’s been a week since I used Moringa O2
Anti-Frizz shampoo and conditioner, and my frizz has been lessened by about
50%! My hair feels softer and much easier to detangle by this day too!
Here’s a comparison of Day 1 and
Day 7!
Here’s my morning hair after
using the products for a week; it’s easier to manage, less dry, looks softer,
and lesser frizz; I’m confident to say I can go straight to the supermarket
after waking up to pick some groceries!
I therefore conclude, Moringa-O2
Anti-Frizz Shampoo and Conditioner work!
It’s great for getting rid of frizz and maintaining smooth hair. Use it along
with Herbal Hair Relaxing Serum++ and you’re sure to get smooth, frizz- free
hair every day! I just purchased the 350ml of the shampoo and conditioner!
Have you used these products
already? What are your thoughts?
