THE VERDICT:

When I picked up Laura Mercier's Translucent Loose Powder for the sake of a blog review, I threw in their newest concealer, Flawless Fusion Ultra Long Wear Concealer in the cart so I could review it as well as I've been reading good stuff about it; I wanted to try and see for myself if it's as good as the claims, and share my thoughts with my readers as well. Public service through beauty blogging is always a good way to justify new makeup purchases LOL.

After trying it out for a couple of times, I'm here to say that I'm officially back to trying out stuff from Laura Mercier after a while, all thanks to this concealer that covers dark circles completely yet still manages to look naturally- flawless!

Ingredients

Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra Long Wear Concealer is part of the new Flawless Fusion base collection. This award- winning, medium to full coverage concealer claims to be weightless and promises to blur, correct, and conceal under eye circles and imperfections all while providing a hydrating finish. Long- wearing formula promises to last for up to 12 hours. The range comes in 12 shades.

Product comes in a rounded acrylic bottle; nice and chic, and I'm loving Laura Mercier's always intuitive packaging designs.

Allure online editors are all praises for this thing, specifically the very flexible doe foot applicator while I don't like it that much because it's just too flexible and I don't have much control on where the concealer goes when I swipe it on. It's meant to mimic the softness and flexibility of a finger, methinks, but I like the stiffness traditional doe foot applicators have because it lets me do a more precise application.

3C is a medium beige with cool undertones; this is a medium beige with a more peachy undertone; the reason why I chose this is because the peach tone will help tone down my dark circles more.

Consistency is like emulsion and it transfers easily and blends like a dream; no tugging and pulling to be experienced. Coverage is medium to heavy and impressively, it looks just like skin even if you put a considerable amount on your skin.

One and 1/2 layers of Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra Long-Wear Concealer

Bright, young eyes! Laura Mercier's Fusion technology is what allows the product to look naturally- flawless, skin- like, and ethereally fresh; the technology allows the pigments to mesh with the natural layers and texture of the skin for a more natural look.

Staying power is great! No caking, streaking, and fading the whole day. The blurring effect is also nice because it smoothed out the texture on my under eyes. It did not settle into my tiny under eye wrinkle too.

Another expensive concealer that I have no regrets spending money on; I wish I bought another tube of this instead of the loose powder. I also think that there's way more product inside the tube compared to Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer so that's a good thing, but the shade range could still be improved as I find most of the shades either too warm or too light; there isn't a lot of option for us locally as well; good thing I found a shade, but still, it needs to better the range.

Despite the shade range issue, I still really like how this concealer performs overall! If you need full coverage, but dislike the I'm-wearing-concealer look, you will love this!
