Ever since I received my first mini makeup set from Sephora (which is Becca), I was hooked! I thought it was brilliant of brands and Sephora to offer mini duos of their best- selling products as samples for beauties on a budget and those who want to try out the products first before buying the full size.
Here are the mini makeup sets I have tried and recommend:
- Rihanna's best- selling highlighter and universal lip gloss shade come in a themed glow set. Because of this set, I got to try Fenty Beauty's best- selling products at a more affordable price. I'm actually fine with the size of the highlighter because it's so pigmented anyway and I don't think I can finish the full size!
2. ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS BROW WIZ AND DIPBROW GEL POWER DUO
- Two of Anastasia's best- selling brow product come in a set; I'm so happy with this discovery! I've been meaning to try the gel version of Dipbrow because I love the gel pot version and I hope it's just as good!
- Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfectors have put them all over the map last year and made them one of the best brands for naturally radiant makeup. The famous Shimmering Skin Perfector in liquid and pressed versions come as a set and I love using both individually: the liquid as an overall highlighter before powder and the compact as a standard powder highlighter.
4. MARIO BADESCU GRAB AND GO DRYING LOTION AND FACIAL SPRAY WITH ALOE, HERBS, AND ROSEWATER SET
- Grab and Go features two of my most favorite Mario Badescu products, go for Grab and Go: it features a travel- size version of the the best- selling facial mist in Rosewater variant and my HG zit zapper, Drying Lotion.

5. KAT VON D TATTOO LINER DUO
- Kat Von D's Tattoo Liner is pretty legendary and it comes usually in varying sets; I've seen Bow N Arrow Lipstick + Tattoo Liner set and this, Tattoo Liner Dagger and Tattoo Liner Classic; if you've seen the viral review of a woman who encountered a car accident and praised her KVD Tattoo eyeliner for staying on despite the ordeal, you'll know that this is the real deal!
