FAN MAIL FRIDAYS: My favorite false eyelash brands

My favorite false eyelash brands morena filipina beauty blog
Hola, TBJ Beshies! I'm off to hold a talk on content creation and digital marketing today at AMA Computer College East Rizal. If you're studying here or you happen to have access to ETC's Masterclass campus event today, do drop by most especially if you're looking at pursuing a career in content creation; or if you know someone who can go, please do tell them to attend my exciting talk! :D

For today's Fan Mail Fridays, I picked up this question from THE BEAUTY JUNKEE'S UNITE on Facebook. One TBJ Beshie asked for false eyelash brand recommendations; I looked for an article here on my blog to share with her, but alas, I never wrote anything about my favorite false eyelashes brand, hence this post. Enjoy!

- A makeup artist favorite because it's cheap, it works, and it looks natural! This is also my favorite everyday and filming falsies as well so I don't wear out my more expensive false eyelashes right away. Taiwan falsies is available in Divisoria and Gladking stores. A pack can be as cheap as P70. My favorite style is 218 because it's perfect for everyday and feels like I have nothing on.

- This brand was started by a reality t.v. show star after she realized that there can be a better way for makeup artists to give the effect of super volumized lashes other than layering falsies on top of each other. Lilly Lashes is made from luxurious Mink and the brand claims that it's cruelty- free. There are lots of thicknesses and variants to choose from from the classic extra dramatic 3D Mink to Lite Mink.  My favorite style is Lite Mink falsies in Goddess.

P.S. This brand of falsies is often worn by Lady Gaga, Nikki Minaj, Cardi B, and Jennifer Lopez!

Lilly Lashes is available at sephora.ph. Use my code MARTHA to get 10% off upon check out. ;)

- Bohktoh is a Thai brand of falsies and apparently very popular in the Thai pageant industry. I also love Bohktoh; it's the brand that made me wear false eyelashes again because they have proven that volumized does not have to be tacky or costume- like. I also love that Bohktoh's falsies are generally fanned out, which gives the appearance of wider, brighter eyes. My favorite Bohktoh style is J-202. I LOVE Bohktoh's false eyelash glue to death; it's the best and sturdiest so far for me; it can last the whole day with ZERO retouch and it has been my lash glue for the last 3 years now!

 - Huda Beauty started her beauty empire with false eyelashes. It's my most expensive pair of false eyelashes to date. I specifically love Olivia #18 Shortie inspired by Miss USA-Universe Olivia Culpo because the style fans out and gets thicker on the edge, which gives the illusion of a cat eye. Also, if you're iffy to use Mink false eyelashes because you don't think they're entirely cruelty- free, you can try Huda's because hers is made of cotton and synthetic fibers.

Get this pair at 10% off when you use my code MARTHA upon check out at Sephora.ph. ;)

- One of my secret weapons to looking all made up and fancy in a jiffy. Seowoo has pre- glued lash strips so all you have to do is just pull them out and stick them on, and you're out the door. Each pair comes with a spare glue strip. There's also a glue strip set for sale in case you want to reuse your false eyelashes. It's honestly one of the best false eyelash brands there is because of the pre-glued strip feature and I keep some for travel purposes in case I have to go to an international convention, press trip, or event and I have to be made up.

- If you love the style of Heart Evangelista's falsies: just the right volume and length, and looks soft overall, Téviant by Albert Kurniawan is the way to go. This 100% human hair falsies are so light, look so pretty, and the length perfectly suits Filipina eyes. This is one of my go- to

That's all for my favorite false eyelash brands! Do share with me yours!
