My favorite daily sunscreens

I went to take a bath today and I don't remember having a heater in our bathroom, but the water was almost hot.

This only means one thing...

SUMMER IS HERE!

Summer is finally here and we should all the more wear sunscreen starting today. Here are some of my favorite daily sunscreens that I repurchase because they're guaranteed lightweight and great for my skin type, which is combination normal-oily.

1-2. BIORE UV AQUA RICH WATERY ESSENCE AND BIORÉ UV PERFECT FACE MILK

- UV FACE MILK: This sunscreen sets efficiently into a soft, matte finish and feels more like a primer than a sunscreen. Despite its finish, it does not feel drying to the normal parts of my face. I also love how it functions well both as a base for my makeup and as a UV protector! If used as a primer, it helps prolong my makeup, but I noticed that I would still oil up at my expected time, which is 3-4 hours after applying makeup; it's not that bad though considering that I oil up at around the same time too with other primers and the good thing with this one by Bioré is it has SPF. My tiny issue with it is it leaves a slight white cast.

UV AQUA RICH WATERY ESSENCE: Watery Essence is just like a moisturizer. Period. No white cast, very moisturizing, and gets absorbed quickly. You can skip moisturizer when you use this product! It provides an all- day moisturizing action that it helps my skin suppress sebum production, as I noticed (Because Hydration is the great oil controller!). However, it is not a primer and does not claim to act like one unlike UV Perfect Face Milk; the sebum- suppressing action is just my personal observation.

3. NEUTROGENA ULTRA SHEER COMPLETE UV WATERLIGHT LOTION

- The product blends in fast and easily; it dries into a semi- matte finish and does not feel as if you have something on your face at all; there are sunscreen products in similar formulas yet they feel "thick" and "warm" on the skin, but this one isn't.

What I love most about this product is it's high SPF, but yields zero white cast---AS IN! I can apply a lot and no ma, still no white cast! It also has a mild moisturizing effect, which supports my actual moisturizer and provides a good base for makeup. This sunscreen is makeup- friendly!

4. VMV HYPOALLERGENICS ARMADA

- It has been reformulated really well! It dries quickly, spreads easily, doesn't leave any white streaks or tinge, lightweight, and unscented, which makes it perfect for sensitive skin. A little goes a long way! The texture feels like your average moisturizer. In fact this could even be lighter!

5. FENTY SKIN HYDRA VIZOR INVISIBLE BROAD SPECTRUM SPF

- A multitasking moisturizer and SPF in one. Moisturizes, hydrates, and protects the skin from harmful UV rays. It's lightweight, gets absorbed easily, and has a nice aquatic floral fragrance. Rihanna did good on this one!

6. SHISEIDO WETFORCE PERFECT UV PROTECTOR

- It's a light, watery sunblock that dries into a semi- matte finish, but never feels dry, taut, nor looks filmy on the skin. It has a light sunblock scent masked by a hint of floral fragrance. It gets absorbed very quickly and leaves an insignificant white cast. I can also wear this under makeup, but I still moisturize prior usage. For men and those who only want a regular sunscreen with the same long- lasting effect, try Shiseido Wet Force Perfect UV Protector; a high SPF, lightweight, water- resistant sunscreen that keeps you protected for a long time. Also, this is the only sunscreen I know that gets stronger when exposed to sweat and water! AMAZING!
