Cetaphil Skin Care Products Review: Great for Managing Oily Skin!

THE VERDICT:

Cetaphil has always been that go- to "my skin needs a break" skin care for me. When I'm breaking out and I can't seem to understand why, Cetaphil. When my skin is feeling extra sensitive, Cetaphil. Cetaphil has always been that balancing skin care and I've always wondered it could serve another purpose in my skin care routine and address my other primary skin concerns such as oiliness. After all, they have introduced a lot of products already in the last few years.

So here's my oily skin routine featuring Cetaphil. Let me share with you my picks as well as my review!

Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser Ingredients

Cetaphil Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser (P504) is a gentle cleanser with micro-beads that slough away dirt and impurities. It also has a vitamin complex that leaves skin soft and smooth.

Gentle Foaming Cleanser

Cetaphil Gentle Foaming Cleanser (P444) is a mild cleanser that strips away dirt, grime, and oil without harming skin's natural moisture and pH balance. Formula is pH 5.5 too.

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream Ingredients

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream (P682) is a soothing, moisturizing cream that protects the skin barrier and is formulated for sensitive, dry skin types. This multitasker is not only good for the face, but for body use as well.

Cetaphil Sun Light Gel SPF 50 Ingredients

Cetaphil Sun Light Gel (P827) is a broad spectrum SPF that protects skin from UVA/UVB exposure. It is also water- resistant and suitable for sensitive skin, and the gel formula makes it perfect for daytime use and humid climates.  Formula is paraben- free, non- comedogenic, dermatologist- tested, and fragrance- free.

Daily Exfoliating Cleanser- this one has Cetaphil's signature floral fragrance and the gel formula is refreshing, easy to rinse out, and perfect for oily skin because it doesn't feel clogging in any way. It has an average amount of micro- beads so it isn't that abrasive, but you feel that it is effectively exfoliating your skin. However, the exfoliants are micro- beads and as much as possible, I avoid micro-beads so I hope Cetaphil changes this into a natural exfoliant. I might not repurchase this until Cetaphil decides to replace their synthetic exfoliators.

Gentle Foaming Cleanser- I have a thing now for foaming cleansers because it saves me time and I just feel that it gets rid of excess sebum from my skin effectively.  Suds are really effective in de- greasing skin that's why I can't do without it, but the good thing about the soap ingredient of this product is it's Coco Glucoside, an alternative to SLES. This cleanser gets rid of dirt from my skin effectively without leaving it taut and dry.

Moisturizing Cream- This is a semi- rich, unscented cream; it's a little heavy since it's originally formulated for dry skin. I only use a little to cover my entire face, about 1-2 pea- sized amounts for my entire face. I also love the fact that this is an all- around moisturizer. No breakouts so far from this product.

Cetaphil Sun Light Gel SPF 50- this product used to be Daylong by Cetaphil, but looks like they have just decided to take this under the mother line. I have a review of this product HERE. Glad to know that the formula was retained and this is perfect for those who want a gel formula SPF that's quite moisturizing and great for almost any skin type, not just oily skin.

Thankfully, my skin is behaving now; no maskne, no acne, just oiliness. I'm glad that my picks from Cetaphil perfectly suit my oily skin and help manage oiliness, which is my main problem nowadays.

These products from Cetaphil are great for oily skin maintenance because they're mild enough for daily use-none of the usual drying ingredients that you will find in for-oily-skin care products, don't cause breakouts, and help reduce excess sebum which can lead to breakouts. 

I'm glad that Cetaphil has more options for me to choose from and aside from being a balancing skin care range, it can be my maintenance skin care range too!
