THE VERDICT:

One of my most favorite beauty products is an eye cream and whatever eye cream that comes my way, I enthusiastically try. And lately, I have been noticing that my under eyes are getting drier, perhaps due to age.

One of my favorite eye cream discoveries as of late is Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment; a lot say that this is best for dry skin and it’s constantly being recommended in beauty groups that I’m part of too. I have been trying it for over a month and I must say, this really is amazing for dry skin and during dry weather, plus it’s great if you have sweaty eyes as well because it has a special formula that prevents the product from moving around your under eyes too much!

Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment is a rich, moisturizing eye cream enriched with Avocado. It has an innovative,  proprietary formula that prevents the product from migrating into the eyes.

The product has a light greenish hue, very rich, almost paste- like consistency, but it doesn’t feel heavy, clogging, or irritating to the skin. It is also unscented, but has a naturally- occurring odor, which I think is due to the products used and the Avocado Oil extract.

A little goes a long way and its texture reminds me of those pasty creams that I have first encountered with  Korean brands, specifically those with pig collagen. It’s smooth, easy to spread, but you will feel that while you are spreading it across your skin, a dewy barrier starts to form: it feels as if it’s sealing the product, but at the same time, it’s not irritating nor heavy; it just makes the product a bit hard to spread at some point because of its “setting” nature so my advise is don’t put a lot.

After a month of usage, my under eyes felt more supple, more moisturized, and the dry patches went away ; I loved using it last month when the weather was cooler her in the south. It’s also good to use with makeup because its setting nature may help keep makeup in place.

Overall, this is a really good eye cream and I can see why a lot love it and would recommend it: it’s a timeless Kiehl’s classic, a dependable hydrating eye cream that’s good for almost anyone, and great for those with sweaty under eyes because the formula is made to prevent the product from migrating inside the eyes or around the skin. If you’re looking a good basic eye cream with a good formula, try this!
