If any one of you remembers, I reviewed Laura Mercier's best- selling translucent power and didn't like the loose version so much, but I fell in love with the pressed version (loose powder review HERE and pressed powder review HERE). 

I received late last year Laura Mercier's Translucent Setting Powder Glow, which a lot of people have been loving as well and I think I found the Laura Mercier loose powder that I'll love. This fine, beauty powder gives you healthy, glowing skin in a swipe, as if you've had 8 hours of d*mn good sleep!

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Glow is a setting and finishing powder that promises 12 hour coverage.

The powder is fine and laced with micro shimmer to give that extra glow. The shade is Translucent and is a medium beige shade with pale gold micro shimmer. It's a low- dusting powder that gets spread easily by a fluffy brush and doesn't leave patches of shimmer, unlike other luminous setting powders; the shimmers in this are so fine and don't end up giving a highlighter- type of coverage.

Me wearing a layer of the powder. I don't use this as a setting powder, but as a veil powder instead to counteract my matte look. I have used this as a setting powder and since it's very pigmented and I have oily skin, my looked oilier. So in my opinion, it's best used as a veil powder instead. Coverage is light to medium and the glow it gives lasts for hours. I like how radiant and healthy my skin looks if I finish my makeup with this powder!

TBJ TIP: this can double as a highlighter as well! Simply pile up the layer on a certain part of you face to amplify the glow.

Laura Mercier's Translucent Loose Setting Powder Glow is my fake 8 hours of sleep in a jar. Through this product, I've finally understood why Laura Mercier's loose powder is legendary among makeup enthusiasts: it's very fine, lightweight, and skin- like, and definitely brings out the best look of your skin! I recommend it to anyone who is suffering from dull skin and want a smart product that will instantly improve the look of skin.
