Times like this, a sunscreen is a must to keep skin protected and healthier in the long run.
I gotchu fam. If you’re looking for a new sunscreen purchase to keep you company as you go about work or school in the outside world, then you’re reading the right blog post.
Here are face sunscreens that are perfect under makeup; I’m giving you spend and save options!

GARNIER LIGHT COMPLETE SUPER UV (P330)
- A lightweight sunscreen with a soft matte finish and high SPF coverage. Perfect for oily skin!
- a very light and almost invisible SPF that’s perfect for oily and normal skin types. It’s a white- colored liquid that doesn’t leave a white cast and has a light moisturizing effect as well.
3. BELO SUNEXPERT FACE SUNSCREEN (P230)
- one of the affordable, go- to sunscreens in the drugstore. This reliable sunscreen has a nice formula that works for a lot of skin types, gets absorbed quickly by the skin, accessible, and overall perfectly made for our weather.
- Actually, all of Biore’s face sunscreens are DA BOMB and my most favorite is UV Aqua Rich and Perfect Milk, which are both perfect for oily skin. UV Aqua Rich is for heavy makeup days because it’s lightweight and also, it’s one of my general sunscreens for the face while Perfect Milk is for light makeup days because it has long- lasting properties that let it stay intact even if my makeup has faded already.
5. FAIRY SKIN BRIGHTENING SUNSCREEN (P190)
- The new darling sunscreen of skin care loving Filipinas on Tiktok! This super affordable sunscreen has everything that you could possibly want from a sunscreen at P190 only: lightweight, no fragrance, no white cast, fast- absorbing, has skin care benefits, and it has apparently passed the Daiso UV test, which gives its SPF protection claim credibility.

- Perfect sunscreen for oily skin types! This waterproof sunscreen is perfect for sweaty and really oily gals, and can be used in the city or on the beach. Formula is lightweight and sheer that it does not clog pores even if it has superb staying power.
- Shiseido is well- known for their waterproof and water- resistant sunscreens and is actually one of my favorite brands for high end facial sunscreens. Wet Force Perfect UV Protector is a milky sunscreen with mild hydrating properties yet incredible staying power; it can be used in the city or on the beach, and can even be used by babies and those with sensitive skin.
- If you’re looking for sunscreen with more skin care benefits, go for The Body Shop’s Skin Defence spf lotion because it’s a serum-spf product that works for all skin types including dry skin; it’s hydrating, moisturizing, has a great floral fragrance, and feels very light on the skin.
- If you’re gonna ask what my favorite sunscreen is, it’s Supergoop’s Unseen Sunscreen! The primer- like feel makes it perfect to use under makeup because it smooths the canvas, which results to smoother- looking makeup. Perfect for oily skin and I even think that the formula helps my product stay put longer!
10. VMV HYPOALLERGENICS ARMADA (P1,650)
- If you’re looking for a Filipino brand of high- end susncreen, I would highly recommend VMV Hypoallergenics Armada, the OG certified sunscreen that’s ideal for any skin type including sensitive skin. VMV’s sunscreen products under rigorous efficacy testing in Singapore so it’s one spf brand that I’d bet my name on.
