Dior is quite the darling of Tiktok and if ever the brand has to credit anyone for the success and resurgence of their brand among the youth, it definitely has to be Tiktok and the Gen Z's obsession over this pretty makeup brand. Timing and great decision- making is also everything: Dior's always been known for the quintessential French beauty look (fresh, dewy, natural) and it's something that resonated well with the younger generation; so when Dior decided to tap into the Gen Z market, the market snapped them up quickly and today, this brand is arguably the most popular makeup brand among Gen Zs.

One of Dior's Tiktok- viral products is this elusive Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Blush; I call it elusive because it's always out of stock in the Philippines and I had to get mine abroad, specifically, from the UK through Harrods online.

So why is this Tiktok famous and is it worth the extra mile? Let's find out!

Ingredients

Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Blush is dubbed as a makeup artist secret, used in fashion shows to give models that beautiful, flushed, healthy look on the runway. The blush features Color Reviver Technology that enables the product to adapt to It comes in two shades: 001 Light Pink and 004 Light Coral.

It's a singles blush and it comes in a sleek, silver case with Dior monogram motif against a pink semi- translucent plastic cover. I like that the blush tells you right away what color it is so you won't confuse it with the coral one, in case you have it too.

Here's the blush. Love the Dior monogram detail that's embossed on the blush! It has a light rose fragrance.

Pigmentation is medium to heavy. It is buildable and has a soft matte finish. Light Pink is a bubblegum pink shade with a blue undertone, which I think is one reason why the blush looks good on a lot of skin tones.

What's good about this blush is indeed gives you a nice, healthy look. Well, it's obvious that you have a blush on, but it looks pretty nevertheless that you won't really mind if you obviously have color on your cheeks. It sits nicely on the skin and doesn't give that powdery look.

Staying power is GREAT. I normally would apply powder blush on top of foundation and I don't know how the formula is able to do it, but it has a staining effect and leaves a rosy stain on my cheeks even after removing it with makeup remover. The stain can be effectively removed through double cleansing and an oil- based makeup remover.

I'm not exactly sure how Color Reviver Technology works; it's giving me Mood Lipstick vibes, but I think what it's supposed to do is to adjust the blush color's tone to your skin. Color Reviver Technology can also be seen in Dior's Lip Glow and Lip Oil products. At the moment though, the blush looks similar across all skin tones based on the reviews I've seen. But I don't really mind because it is a universally- flattering bright pink blush.

Overall, I can see why this blush is a hit: it looks gorgeous, it's universally- flattering, and it's a bright pink blush that doesn't look tacky and makes you look fresh overall, plus staying power and quality are amazing.
