THE VERDICT:
Tomato Serum, I believe, is what put the product on the local beauty map. I normally prefer trying out more expensive serums because of experience, but since a lot have been raving about this and Skinpotions is one of the local online beauty brands I like, I decided to give it a shot. Good thing I did because I wouldn't have discovered a good, affordable clarifying serum that's great for oily skin types!
Ingredients
Skinpotions' best- selling serum, Tomato Serum, is a concoction of Tomato extracts that help reduce acne inflammation, textured skin, enlarged pores, irritations, fights free- radicals wtih Vitamins A, C, and E, restores skin's pH balance, and Aloe Vera extract that hydrates and helps relieve sun- burned skin.
The serum has a bouncy, rich gel consistency, which is ideal for oily skin types plus a little goes a long way. It has a mild citrus- floral scent and feels lightweight, sets easily, and can easily be used underneath makeup. The hydrating consistency gives makeup a plump, dewy look and Carbopol, a type of polymer, helps provide a more even finish.
I've been using this serum consistently for a month now and I have noticed the following:
- It helped minimize skin sensitivity whenever I have a breakout.
- After two weeks of use, I've noticed that my acne lesions and breakouts are subsiding fast because Tomato is actually a good anti- acne ingredient
- My skin looks brighter.
- My skin looks clearer
- I've noticed that my skin looked smoother as well, especially on the nose area where I always get enlarged pores.
- No breakouts too!
I'm 60% done with the bottle and I think one bottle will last you for 1 or 2 months, depending on usage.
I highly recommend this product is you are looking for a budget- friendly serum for oily skin, you have mild to moderate acne problems and want a serum that helps with the problem, or an inexpensive, good serum for those in their mid to late 20's. Will surely buy this again! This is my favorite clarifying serum to date!

I agree. It's a good serum and affordable, I am more inclined to reaching out for my high end serums during skincare time but I'm glad I have this in my beauty cabinet. :)
ReplyDeleteSad to say pero di ako nahiyang dito nung kasagsagan ng acne ko 😅 sguro dahil sobrang malala na rin yun acne ko kaya nairritate lalo pero ngaun wala na at dark spots nkng parang gusto ko ulit itry , yun soap po nila ang ganda ❤️
