THE VERDICT:

Do you honestly need Body Scrubs? Yes and no. Yes if you're looking for something enjoyable to do in the shower as I believe Body Scrubs are more for pleasure. No if you're a plain and simple gal who's pretty contented with a loofah and a bar of soap! One good benefit from Body Scrub though is it moisturizes and scrubs your skin at the same time, which is pretty good for those with a skin that gets irritated quickly when rubbed. I can live without Body Scrub, honestly, but they're useful when I'm lazy to do the tedious process of soaping a loofah. What I'm using lately-no, make that 2 months because this tub lasts forever-is The Cream Factory's Scrub-In-A-Tub.

THE CREAM FACTORY SCRUB-IN-A-TUB GOAT'S MILK AND HONEY IN DETAIL

Scrub-In-A-Tub is the body scrub line of The Cream Factory. It comes in three variants namely Salty (With Rock Salt Crystals, Witch Hazel, and Seaweed; retails at P799.00), Creamy (With Walnut Sprinkles, Honey and Jojoba; retails at P599.00), and Yummy (With Cocoa bits; retails at P699.00).

It's sealed for freshness and comes in one huge, 255g tub. I also love that the cover's attached to the tub, which is what I prefer over screw- top tubs-that's one less task in the shower!

Make your own super affordable Body Scrub. I'll show you how HERE.

Ingredients

More about this creamy treat after the jump!

Look at that batter, I mean, scrub! It bears the same rich 'n creamy base as The Cream Factory Body Wash. I opted for Creamy because I was after the walnut scrubbers-in my experience, they are easier to rinse off from the skin and really give me a good scrub. I also found tiny, clear sprinkles in the mixture, which I believe is Rock Salt. Great! I could use some Rock Salt after a workout because they're good for tired, overworked muscles. It smells ultra creamy with a hint of floral-honey in the background. It's sweet and sumptuous, but doesn't smell like a car freshener or something like that lol!

THE CREAM FACTORY SCRUB-IN-A-TUB GOAT'S MILK AND HONEY IN ACTION

It's a super concentrated gunk that you won't need a lot to cover your body. However, I would appreciate if it were much grittier for better exfoliating effects. I guess they made it this way so as to cater to those who like it tough and those who like it mild! It makes my skin feel very soft after rinsing, and perfumes it with a 'fresh cream' scent that lingers. You just need to rinse it off for a while though because it's THAT creamy!

TIP: Add fresh ground coffee or epsom salt (for better health benefits) to the scrub if you want to make it grittier!

This scrub is more for fun and pleasure, and even if I wanted it to have better scrubbing effects, I still like it because it's a feel- good product! Not only that, it has other skin- caring benefits too such as Jojoba and Honey!

  1. I love body scrubs that doesn't just clean but leave you feeling refreshed and smelling delightful! I've always been a fan of the Cream Factory and I absolutely love how great their products smell. The price is okay since it is indeed a huge 255g tub. But I think there are similar priced body scrub out there that offers better exfoliation. But I still would very much like to try this one out. Great review! <3

  3. I love body scrub! I agree. Scrubs are totes fun to use for a me time bath. I've been using Asian Secrets but I want to try this because of the honey ♥ Well, sometimes change is good ;> I also want to experience that sweet bath. Good thing, it's not close to dizzying car freshener scent!

  6. I agree, body scrubs make baths pleasurable:) You feel 'sosi' and I love the clean feeling and the mild scent on my skin. I use a different and cheaper brand but would love to try these especially the Salty variant because of Witch Hazel:)

  7. Tried it already and I agree with you, It's really creamy so I need to rinse it so well.
But it's worth it because my skin becomes so smooth after.

  8. Hi Beauty Junkee!

I love your review on The Cream Factory Creamy Scrub. I've always wanted to try it. I have their Yummy Scrub Almond, and the feel and smell of it is divine! Love how my skin is smooth and soft right after.

I heard that the Creamy scrub is really their "gentle exfoliator" that's why it's perfect for sensitive skin. And the Salty is really their most abrasive scrub. :)

  9. I had a scrub in a jar from The Body Shop and it might've lasted three years. :)) Not a big fan of these because I just never remember to use them.

Body wash, on the other hand, is a completely different story. Those, I practically drink! Haha.
