THE VERDICT:
I didn't really understand what the fuss with Girl About Town was all about until I got to try it myself. Girl About Town is one of the first universally- flattering hot pink/fuchsias out there, and I guess it's the main reason why a lot of girls love it-classic items never go out of style!

MAC GIRL ABOUT TOWN AMPLIFIED CREME LIPSTICK IN ACTION
Girl About Town is truly a blue- based fuchsia (the reason why it suits a variety of skin tones) with a tad hint of violet in it. On fairer skin tones, it appears a little warmer, but still flattering nevertheless. If you're not sure about what fuchsia lipstick will look good on you, the safest option would be the blue- based ones like this color!
Sure, it does look like a lot of fuchsia lippies out there, but Girl About Town looks ever so classy and I believe it's a counterpart of Russian Red if you want something summery but with a hint of class, still. Thank God I purchased this lippie- it's now one of my fuchsia favorites! However, it's not available locally. Calling MAC Cosmetics Philippines-please bring this shade to the country because I guarantee that it will be a big hit! :D

Beautifully nice and glossy pink!
ReplyDeleteWow! ang cute ng color and it matches you so well
ReplyDeleteI love lippies within the shade of pink, and I have tried once a lippie that has a shade of blue, it ended up looking violet on me. It looks jice but not for my everyday type of look. This shade is definitely a pretty one!
ReplyDeleteMAC's Impassioned is lovely too! :)
ReplyDeleteFuchsia lipsticks I think are one of the most attractive lip colors there is but they seem like the hardest to select. A shade like this stands out nicely against deep complexions, indeed. But it really is difficult to find a fuchsia that suits lighter ones. So thank you for sharing this universally-flattering lippie! What I like about this color is how it's not over the top despite it being a bold color. It's obviously not neutral but it seems really versatile. :)
ReplyDeleteI swear by MAC lipsticks!

Ah okay, ganon pala. I love hot pink lippies but I sometimes thought that it just looks off on my lips. So, next time, I ll be sure that I pick the blue based hot pink shade.
