So far, these are the ones I've tried that passed my standards. Read on!
- This is my affordable alternative to Benefit Brow Zings; it contains varied shades of brow powder and the colorless wax allows for better customization. I also like that the shades in this kit cater to three different shades of hair color: there's one for black, blonde, and brown!
- My HG brow kit; this complete kit features a wax, buttery, pigmented powder, and nifty tools that give me more than perfect brows.
- This affordable kit contains a powdery wax and creamy brow powder to give you dramatic or natural- looking brows. Unlike other brow wax products that need to be set with powder in order to last long, the wax in this kit's special formula allows you to use it on its own so you can achieve great- looking brows easily.
- This multitasking palette contains six shades for filling and highlighting brows. This palette even doubles as an eyeshadow or nose contouring palette!
5. PINK SUGAR HONEY I'M GOOD EYEBROW KIT
- This newcomer from hit local makeup brand, Pink Sugar, features 3 brow powders and a brow gel wax that's pigmented enough to be used on its own. I love brow gel wax and glad that this thing came with one!

Haven't tried the above list :( I've only tried the ones from Dolly Wink.. I still prefer pencil type :)
ReplyDeleteI am currently using the BYS brow kit and I must say that it's a steal. I've been using it for months now and I am not even halfway yet. :) I dislike the wax in the kit so what I do is I lightly dip my eyebrow brush in water then I brush it against the powders in the kit. It gives out a more natural finish and it makes the powder last for 4-6 hours. I've also tried in2it's eyebrow kit and it's also worth the price. I'm going to try out Pink Sugar's eyebrow kit soon. :)
ReplyDeleteI never tried anything. Hindi kase ako marunong magkilay eh.
ReplyDeletePink Sugar and Benefit's brow kits are next on my list! My go-to brow kit is the one from ELF, it's a good dupe for the Brow Zings since they both have gels and brow powders. This was the first ever brow product I tried and it helped me perfect the proper technique for filling my brows. It's pretty beginner friendly, but I suggest getting a separate brow brush (like the one from Marionnaud!) because the ones included in the kit are flimsy. I wish they would adapt the same concept as Brow Zings' bendable dual ended brush! Another favorite of mine is Wet n wild's! It's similar to the BYS one because of the clear wax and different shades of browns available. I like the powders from this one better because they're buttery and the pigmentation is superb! They also stay on my brows for a long time even if I don't set my brows with brow gel or mascara. :)
ReplyDeletei havent tried any brow kit mentioned above but i would love to try BYS and BENEFIT and since i am on budget (mom-on-budget) i am looking for a dupe for these kits.. (hope you could post another splurge vs save article ms m)
ReplyDeleteEver Bilena's brow kit is good. It costs 180 pesos and it lasts more than 6 hours on my oily brows even when I sweat AS LONG AS I don't touch my brows. Hindi nga lang matibay ang packaging; masisira within a month kapag lagi mong dala sa kikay kit mo.
DeleteI like the brow kit from Pixi by Petra it's so cool!!!!
ReplyDeleteBoth my favorites are on the list, Brow Zings and BYS. Would like to try others too
ReplyDeleteAmong the five listed here, I have tried only Pink Sugar's brow kit. I still have to learn how to fix my thick, unruly brows but having a brow kit is definitely a big help. Thanka for sharing these info Miss M! I might try Loreal or BYS too ^-^
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised elf isn't on here! It's super, duper pigmented and cheap, too!
ReplyDeleteI'm a "kilay is life" kind of girl because my eyebrows are manipis and I definitely can't leave the house without my eyebrows done. I use two products to achieve that "eyebrows on fleek" look, an eyebrow pencil and a brow powder. Reading this blog, the Pixi by Petra Brow Palette caught my eye! Looking forward to get one of those. <3
ReplyDeleteI'm already eyeing some products from Pink Sugar ever since they launched their website! I've already ordered their BB Cream and Powder. Thanks for coming up with this post Ms. M. It's very timely for me. And I've always been more comfortable using a brow kit than a pencil.
ReplyDeleteHaven't tried any from the list but I'm currently using in 2 it brow gel. next on my list is Benefit Brow Zings, but upon reading this post, will try BYS first hehe
ReplyDeleteMas prefer ko ang eyebrow pencil Ms.M, pero lately parang lagi kasing may sparse ang eyebrows ko at mukhang unnatural yung lines ng eyebrow pencil so would give the powder a try, hmm they say okay din daw ang in-2-it, have you tried it?
ReplyDeleteI have tried Brow Zings na from a friend and I reckon sulit naman. Nagmukha ako dalaga when I tried it. Hehe. Im just using Nichido brow mascara for my kilay. I might try BYS
ReplyDeleteI prefer using brow pomades on my brows but since I got blonder hair now I am looking for a good brow kit thats gonna lighten my brows. I've tried using brow gels before but man, ubos kaagad, hindi practical. I might try bys or pink sugar
ReplyDeleteI've read a lot of good reviews for the BYS brow kit. While I'm currently using the Maybelline brow kit, I am quite interested in trying the Pink Sugar and Petra. Maybelline so far has been great but I will not stop until I try the one that will work best for me.
ReplyDeleteEver bilena has brow kit with matching mini tweezer to boot (very handy for travel) It can double up as eyeshadow since it has perfect three shades of brown (a warm brown with a bit reddish but bearable red tint to it, a ashy brown and a true brown and a wax) and for nose contouring because the pallete have a ashy brown which perfect contour shade for my skin tone. In my opinion the shade selection is perfect for typical Filipina skintone.
ReplyDeleteI got my Pink Sugar eyebrow kit right before you made this post and I'm so happy it's in your list! I've only recently become interested in make up and I'm glad I have this blog (and you!) to guide me in the right direction, hehe! Great stuff!
