 THE VERDICT:

Pretty, flushed cheeks- it's a Filipina makeup look staple and is always achieved by a cheek tint. I'd like to let you know that you can achieve the same look with other blush products like powder and cream like this duo from Revlon.

WHAT IS IT?

Revlon's classic powder blush features a soft, silky texture with buildable coverage. I have the new shade called Orchid, a warm pink shade with a hit of lavender; reminds me of MAC powder blush in Coygirl.

Insta-Blush is their newest cheek product; it features 4 shades for blushing, contouring, and highlighting. It's a light cream blush with a smooth, semi- moisturizing finish and promises to deliver a kiss of color.

The shade I got is called Berry Kiss, a warm, berry pink shade. Texture is smooth, glides on easily, and pigmentation is light to medium, perfect for those who just want a sheer flush of color on the cheek. I actually like its pigmentation because it's not intense and is a good base for virtually any color of powder blush just because it's sheer. However, if you're going to rely on it alone as a blush, it's pretty sheer and fares better on fair skin.

Insta-Blush + Powder Blush

First, I applied Insta-Blush as base and topped it with the powder blush in Orchid; the result is a pretty, light flushed look; this duo is great for morenas too. The cream blush helps the powder blush last longer; just layer on the powder if you want a more intense look.

  3. I would love to try the Insta-blush for I think it will have more lasting power within the day. And gives a soft natural flush just like tints or other cream blush.

  6. I'm afraid of using cream blushes kasi baka ma-move niya yung foundation underneath. Hope you'll have a separate youtube vids on how to apply different kinds of blushes ☺️

  7. I have the samw shade of insta blush! It is creamy, easy to apply and blend as well. I use this on my lips and eyes as well for a monochromatic look. Using it as a stain on lips emphasizes the lines so I make sure that I exfoliate but the finish is very natural like someone bitten my lips. It is not that long lasting so I apply a bit of blush with almost the same shade to set it.

  11. I'm not a blush kind of girl, pero this one got me hooked! I'd surely try this ate. It looks natural kasi, and bagay sa morena like me. Para sakin mahirap pumili ng shade ng blush kasi it can ruin the whole look. Pero I can say that this is perfect for me 😍
