THE VERDICT:
But then age kicked in.
I've noticed that my lashes got more and more sparse considering I haven't been wearing mascara as frequently as before-well, not at an alarming rate thankfully, but still, it held me back from writing mascara reviews because I felt like I wasn't showcasing the effects of the products properly just because my lashes were already thinning. And I haven't worn mascara for a while (unless I have to) because I felt like there's no point LOL.
And then I encountered this new mascara by K-Palette: 1 Day Lash Up Silky Long Mascara and Silky Volume mascara.
Listen Beshies, if you're like me who has aging lashes, then this mascara is perfect for you! Bring volume and that falsies effect back to aging lashes with these awesome mascaras!
1 Day Lash Up Silky Volume Mascara ingredients
The volumizing mascara promises volumized lashes that are well- separated and fluffy. It features Original Silky Foam Technology that emphasizes each and every lash.
1 Day Lash Up Silky Long Mascara ingredients
This lengthening mascara promises to elongate and provide curl for the lashes without the clump. Just like the Silky Volume Mascara, it features the Original Silky Foam Technology to emphasize each and every lash.
I don't know if you have noticed by now, but K-Palette has already revamped their look: it's more minimalist and I like the color- blocking concept because it makes the product stand out more and the layout is cleaner and easier to read.
As for the tube, I like the cylindrical shape; it allows me to grip the product better.
L-R: Volumizing, lengthening
The volumizing mascara applicator has spiraling, lesser bristles and the lengthening mascara has a packed applicator and dense bristles. Traditionally, the mascara applicators should switch variants because thicker bristles=volume and thinner bristles=lengthening, but for some reason, these deliver the promised effects efficiently. The wand of the volumizing mascara thickens and at the same time, separates to prevent clumping and the wand of the lengthening mascara lengthens evenly. I also think that the whipped formula of the mascara is quite flexible: it's the type that can work well with any wand and adapt its effect depending on the wand its on, plus it's easy and layers cleanly too.
I'm going to demonstrate the Silky Volume Mascara below:
Bare lashes
One coat
Two coats
Three coats
Whoa! I have never seen my lashes look this dense and fluffy for quite a while! With other mascaras, particularly volumizing ones, my aging lashes would look just okay or clumped AF, but with 1 Day Lash Up Silky Volume mascara, it looks virtually thick and fluffy!
Formula is waterproof; it can withstand oily and sweat without streaking or running, and removes instantly and easily with an oil- based makeup remover.
I'm loving this mascara! I think I shall wear mascara again and if I have to, it would be this! It's a little pricey per tube, but I love that it brings back the good ol' days when my lashes were thick, ergo I feel more confident with my eyes again!

ReplyDeleteThank you for this Ms. Martha, I have Aging lashes too, during younger years I always perm my lashes and it looks really good but last Yr (pre pandemic) I noticed that my lashes tho permed they're not as long as they used to be. I think this mascara will definitely do the work for me :)
