 THE VERDICT:

One significant change in my beauty habit that happened during the pandemic is I bathe during night time most of the time now. The positive thing about that is I get to use hair treatments often compared to before. The reason why I don't use hair treatments as frequently before the pandemic is because I only bathe my hair once a day and I prefer putting treatments on clean, washed hair. I have long hair that takes a while to dry so I only rinse it once a day and during day time so there's always no room and time for hair treatments.

Thanks (but no thanks) to this pandemic, it allowed me to use hair treatments much more frequently and what I am currently loving is Dear Beaute Himawari Oil: a luxurious hair oil with an elegant smell and it's so nourishing, it lets me wake up to fluffy hair every single morning!

Dear Beaute Himawari Hair Treatment Oil is a rich hair oil that gives hair a glossy look and has a high concentration of organic sunflower extracts. It is non- silicone based and Amino based to give hair a lightweight, nutrient- filled shine, and helps protect hair from the sun.

Ingredients

Consistency is rich and colorless; a little goes a long way and I don't apply more than two pumps to prevent the greasy look; this is purely oil and even if it's natural oil, it has no silicone, which helps get rid of that greasy look and feel, so it can still make hair feel and look oily so I still control my usage. It has an elegant perfume- like floral scent that's fresh and feminine; it's not the cloying type of fragrance so I'm fine with it.

As mentioned Sunflower is the main oil ingredient of this product. I know Sunflower oil is great for the skin, but I'm not that aware of its benefits for the hair.

So according to Google, Sunflower oil contains Oleic acid that helps stop hair breakage, this gives the illusion that hair is growing faster because the ends are not splitting and breaking, and it helps hair grow healthier too. Sunflower has good moisturizing properties and has properties that help protect hair from the sun too. Amazing!

How do I use this product? I use it day and night, but most of the time, during night time because as I said, it is very moisturizing. During daytime, if I have to use it, I get one and a half drop only to tame flyaways and frizz.

So this is my hair after a month of using Dear Beaute Himawari Hair Treatment Oil during day and night. My hair looks more lush, thicker, and I specifically love what it did to the middle section and tips of my hair: those parts of my hair usually show the most signs of damage and frizz and because of this hair oil, the damage on those parts look less prominent and I'm only getting less breakage and split ends. My hair looks fluffier too!

I'm halfway through the bottle and I will surely repurchase when I run out, but not anytime soon because I still have a lot of hair oils to finish. But if you have dry, brittle hair that's prone to breakage and split ends, and you want a hair treatment oil that gives you thicker- looking, luxurious hair even if it hasn't seen the salon for months, try this hair oil!
