Welcome to our 5th and 6th (and final day!) in Singapore! Let's have fun at the Singapore Luge and visit the stunning Jewel at Changi, which is one of the biggest and most magnificent fountain spectacles in Asia!
SINGAPORE LUGE AT SENTOSA ISLAND
Sentosa Island is not just all about Universal Studios; it's a great destination for the thrill- seekers and outdoorsy types who love staying active even while traveling; there's bungee jumping, swimming at Siloso beach, indoor sky diving, and Singapore Luge, which is one of the growing attractions in the area.
Singapore Luge is a fun way to experience Singapore for active travelers; it's a karting experience in an outdoor luge that's great for all ages, even for kids as young as 5.
You can book directly at Singapore Luge's official website or third- party tour websites such as Klook or KKDay. Personally, I suggest the latter so you can bundle the Luge ticket together with the other attractions so you can save so much money. The most affordable ticket is 22SGD for the 2 Luge + 2 Skyride package (also the minimum) and the most expensive is the unlimited Skyline + Luge package, which is about 30SGD+. Ticket prices vary depending on age.
Singapore Luge is super fun! It's definitely worth the return to Sentosa, but since it's an outdoor experience, be sure to check the weather forecast on your time of visit to avoid hassle and so you can maximize the experience.
CLARK QUAY
On our last day, after Singapore Luge, we went back to our hotel to rest and prepare for our dinner at Clark Quay.
If you love the night life and you want an eventful ending to your Singapore visit, be sure to drop by Clark Quay, Singapore's beloved night life capital. Eat, drink, and be merry at this charming lifestyle area by Singapore river and you can also book for a sunset river cruise before settling down for dinner and some booze.
JEWEL AT CHANGI
On the day of our departure, we decided to leave the city early and headed to Jewel at Changi for more time to explore the area.
Jewel at Changi is fantastic fountain architecture located inside a new mall, just right beside Changi Airport. It's a mega structure and the scenery surrounding the fountain reminds me so much of Cloud Forest. It's a fabulous display!
There are a lot of things to do at Jewel at Changi, aside from just ogling at the giant fountain. At the topmost floor, you will find a bevy of concept restaurants and attractions such as the mirror maze, garden maze, and hammock play area.
By 7:45PM, we were on our way to Manila.
But before ending this blog post, I would just like to share with you this stressful experience that I went through at the GST Refund counters. Watch my new vlog about it:
