How and where do I gather inspiration for
my blog posts? A quick trip to the beauty section of the department store is
one of my rituals. Sometimes, I end up buying whatever that tickles my fancy
and then voila! I have something to review, or I look at all products and
brands collectively and voila! I have topics ranging from lists, beauty trends,
looks, and essays.
SM Aura is the nearest SM mall to my place so
you’ll always see me there, moseying around the department store specifically
at the Beauty Section. I found myself in there last weekend and the moment I
stepped in the store, a light bulb lit up immediately in my head!
It’s
the Christmas season so I know we’re all trying to strike the balance between
rewarding ourselves and giving to our friends and families, so I present you a
beauty list that’s way too affordable beyond belief-these beauty products will
add that new glow to your look and update your beauty kit, all while allowing
you to allot peacefully to your other holiday expenses! Click READ MORE for the
list!
For just a little over 400 pesos, you get
a multitasking water that removes makeup and tones your skin.
Been meaning to switch to a new Sunscreen
brand? Daylong is a good choice because it’s super affordable and texture is very
friendly to our weather.
4. Pixy UV Whitening Two Way
Cake Perfect Fit (P275.00)
Why of course, this product still remains
as one of my most notable drugstore finds.
This product proves that you don’t need to
shell out so much for an everyday brow product.
I’m telling you all now, the Color Riche line
will be part of my best finds for this year because it’s so moisturizing,
pigmented, and feels so luxe on the lips!
8. Heroine Impact Frame and
Curl Mascara (P695.00)
This best- selling mascara gives you super
volumized lashes that you won’t need eyeshadow anymore for your eyes to stand
out, for real!
Having statement nails is easy and
affordable with Revlon. This brand tops my list when it comes to great drugstore
nail polish brands.
No time to dye your hair? Easy. Just
grab these pigmented brow mascaras from Maybelline and change your brow color
as you please!
Care for
variations so you’ll know how to maximize your P1000?

For me, I love the Pixy Ultimate Makeup Cake and the Pixy lipsticks. I also really like the Etude House Fresh Cherry Tints and Koji/Dollywink products too :)
ReplyDeleteI always get compliments whenever I use Etude House's Drawing Eyebrow! This post is very hopeful, been wondering what to give to my sisters that's within my budget :)
ReplyDeleteI tried the Pixy powder and it feels so light on my skin. I tried the wet application and it's not drying at all. I bought the refill version so it's cheaper. Hahahaha
ReplyDeleteThanks for this! I've almost tried everything in your list as I've read your reviews about them. I like the essence matt powder the most! Super affordable yet gives me the matte finish I want. I haven't tried the coloring mascara though, but sounds fun to use! :) I just bought the Pixy 2-way foundation and an eyeshadow duo. I love them both. I wanted to hoard but there's still no Pixy counter near us. Same goes for Heroine make. :/ I only have the HM eyeliner. I just got 4 shades of Colorstay Gel Envy during the BDJ Beauty Soiree! I super love the colors. :) You should also try Sassy Colors cosmetics and Bobbie cosmetics. The counters are limited as well nga lang. I hope they distribute to more branches soon. Generally, for affordable cosmetics I go for Maybelline, L'oreal, Wet n' Wild, Elf and Bys cosmetics. I highly recommend Bys cosmetics for nail polishes and accessories. :D
ReplyDeleteWow! I never thought about this! Geeez... thanks Martha! now I can maximize what I can give to my sisters! Great products at affordable prices!
ReplyDeleteI love this post!! I want to try that essence loose powder! Im on a budget and I really want to buy so I fight the urge so much and sakto naman na nabasa ko to :) super awesome products talaga! Perfect gift this Christmas too!;( No need to spend lots of money for awesome products :) Thanks Ms Martha :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with the Etude House eyebrow pencil, it's the only thing I buy over and over from EH as I like to experiment with other makeup and skin care. It's super affordable and really does the job!
ReplyDeleteAnother good makeup under P1000 would be Colour Collection's Powder Foundation, a few layer's already good to go. :)
yipeee! new ideas for xmas gift! thank u!:)
ReplyDeleteThis post is amazingly helpful huhu being on a student budget aka saving your "baon" every day for things like these can be such a struggle--but hey, nothing worth having comes easy! <3 Saw the Bifesta Cleansing Lotion at Watsons yesterday and I was so tempted to buy it because it was seriously the cutest shade of pink.
ReplyDeleteI can't find that Essence loose powder ANYWHERE - I'm not kidding. It's either it's always sold out, they don't stock it anymore or some other reason. :(
ReplyDeleteCJ: Same here! :(
ReplyDeleteJessy: Glad you liked it! :)
