10 Surprisingly Good Beauty Products Under P1000

How and where do I gather inspiration for my blog posts? A quick trip to the beauty section of the department store is one of my rituals. Sometimes, I end up buying whatever that tickles my fancy and then voila! I have something to review, or I look at all products and brands collectively and voila! I have topics ranging from lists, beauty trends, looks, and essays.

SM Aura is the nearest SM mall to my place so you’ll always see me there, moseying around the department store specifically at the Beauty Section. I found myself in there last weekend and the moment I stepped in the store, a light bulb lit up immediately in my head!

It’s the Christmas season so I know we’re all trying to strike the balance between rewarding ourselves and giving to our friends and families, so I present you a beauty list that’s way too affordable beyond belief-these beauty products will add that new glow to your look and update your beauty kit, all while allowing you to allot peacefully to your other holiday expenses! Click READ MORE for the list!

Why of course, this product still remains as one of my most notable drugstore finds.

This product proves that you don’t need to shell out so much for an everyday brow product.

I’m telling you all now, the Color Riche line will be part of my best finds for this year because it’s so moisturizing, pigmented, and feels so luxe on the lips!

This best- selling mascara gives you super volumized lashes that you won’t need eyeshadow anymore for your eyes to stand out, for real!

  1. This is a great list, Ms M! I'd like to add Maybelline Clear Smooth Bb cream, Gatsby powdered oil clear paper, L'Oréal true match powder, etude house color my brows and color lips fit, Covergirl mascaras, and Sophie pink cream. I think I just described my everyday beauty kit. Haha!

  4. I tried the Pixy powder and it feels so light on my skin. I tried the wet application and it's not drying at all. I bought the refill version so it's cheaper. Hahahaha

  5. Thanks for this! I've almost tried everything in your list as I've read your reviews about them. I like the essence matt powder the most! Super affordable yet gives me the matte finish I want. I haven't tried the coloring mascara though, but sounds fun to use! :) I just bought the Pixy 2-way foundation and an eyeshadow duo. I love them both. I wanted to hoard but there's still no Pixy counter near us. Same goes for Heroine make. :/ I only have the HM eyeliner. I just got 4 shades of Colorstay Gel Envy during the BDJ Beauty Soiree! I super love the colors. :) You should also try Sassy Colors cosmetics and Bobbie cosmetics. The counters are limited as well nga lang. I hope they distribute to more branches soon. Generally, for affordable cosmetics I go for Maybelline, L'oreal, Wet n' Wild, Elf and Bys cosmetics. I highly recommend Bys cosmetics for nail polishes and accessories. :D

  8. I agree with the Etude House eyebrow pencil, it's the only thing I buy over and over from EH as I like to experiment with other makeup and skin care. It's super affordable and really does the job!

Another good makeup under P1000 would be Colour Collection's Powder Foundation, a few layer's already good to go. :)

  10. This post is amazingly helpful huhu being on a student budget aka saving your "baon" every day for things like these can be such a struggle--but hey, nothing worth having comes easy! <3 Saw the Bifesta Cleansing Lotion at Watsons yesterday and I was so tempted to buy it because it was seriously the cutest shade of pink.

  11. I can't find that Essence loose powder ANYWHERE - I'm not kidding. It's either it's always sold out, they don't stock it anymore or some other reason. :(
