10 Eyeshadow Palettes Under P500 that will up your face mask eye makeup game

Eyes are the centerstage since last year because of the mandatory face mask usage in the Philippines. And because of face masks, it has gotten a bit annoying to wear powders, lipsticks, cheek tints, and all sorts of makeup that will touch the mask-because it's icky, messy, and quite frankly, disgusting when you see all the gunk, sweat, and oil that has transferred on the mask and has been touching your face for hours.

Eyes are the only resolve and canvas of every makeup lover in this time of face mask usage. So here are 10 eyeshadow palettes under P500 that will up your face mask eye makeup game.

1. SQUAD COSMETICS BOSS EYESHADOW PALETTE (P199)

- has 9 shades that come in metallic and matte finishes; there are 2 color combinations for the eyeshadow palette; I chose this because the shades are more morena- friendly.

The powders are pretty smooth although yield heavy fallout while I was swatching them. I must say, pigmentation is pretty great, especially for the metallic eyeshadows; they're the smoothest as well.

2. WET N WILD COLOR ICON EYESHADOW PALETTE (P375)

- The eyeshadows have a very smooth consistency, pigmented, and have little fallout. I've always thought that Wet N Wild's Color Icon eyeshadow palettes are very good; when I was starting with beauty blogging, this is one of my favorite budget eyeshadow palettes and 'til this day, I still think they're good and a great choice for beauties on a budget.

3. EB ADVANCE UNCOVER EYESHADOW PALETTE (P375)

- The eyeshadow have good texture and medium to heavy coverage. You can use them wet if you want heavier coverage, but wet application can damage the quality of eyeshadows, unless they are formulated to be used that way; Uncover didn't say that it can be used for wet application; pigmentation improves if you use it with a primer.

4. CATHY DOLL NUDE ME EYESHADOW PALETTE (P499)

- The eyeshadows have a soft, buttery texture with minimal fall out. Pigmentation is medium to heavy; I was surprised at how nicely they spread on the skin and are fairly easy to blend. There are nice transition shades in the palettes too such as mauves and muted beige, which I appreciate because transition shades are not common in very affordable palettes; all the colors are stark and intense; it's nice to learn that Cathy Doll took the extra step with Nude Me palettes. I just wish that there were more matte shades.

5. EVER BILENA CHOCOLATE EYESHADOW PALETTE (P220.00)

- This palette is quite easy to work with and even beginners can use this palette with ease. It's not as pigmented as more expensive palettes, but for the price, I find that it delivers. I also like the inclusion of trendy tan shades that work as beautiful accent colors for the above crease portion of the eye lids.

6. BLYTHE BY CARELINE FACE PALETTE (P275)

- The eyeshadows of Face Palette in Twilight are great for warm skin tone, but generally, they're universally flattering; the shades are classic and can be worn anytime; there are two matte shades and two metallic shades. The cream blush comes in a deep rose hue; truly perfect for morenas and it's pigmented as well.

7. GENERATION HAPPY SKIN EASY EYES CREASE- PROOF EYESHADOW STICK (P399)

- Easy Eyes eyeshadow stick has a matte finish; it's pretty blendable at first, but it's the type that you have to blend quickly because once it sets, it won't budge. Fit is a browned peach shade. Eyeshadow Stick in Fit is my favorite! Gives me that pretty, fresh monotone look and it's pretty long- lasting too; I like how the muted browned peach shade gives my lids a "blushing" effect.

8. ESSENCE BLUSHED EYESHADOW PALETTE (P449)

- Essence is well- known for their blushes and powders, but I'd like you to know that they have really good eyeshadows and eyeshadow palettes as well. Essence Blushed Eyeshadow Palette is the more colorful counterpart of Nude Eyeshadow Palette and features 10 blooming shades of eyeshadows in varying finishes so you can achieve a three dimensional look.

9. FOCALLURE UPTOWN GIRLS EYESHADOW PALETTE (P189-P412)

- Focallure is one of the popular affordable makeup brands that, until now, we never really know where it originated lol.

Anyhoo, their origins may be unclear, but what's certain is they have really affordable products and according to those who have tried, pretty good products. One affordable palette is called Uptown Girls that features 10 eyeshadows in matte, shimmer, and glitter finishes. Pretty good selection for a very affordable palette.

The price varies per seller, but the official Lazada store lists the price at P412 and is currently on sale at P189. Lots of Focallure items on a crazy sale so the best time to shop their products is now.

10. PINK SUGAR EYE CANDY EYESHADOW QUAD (P399)

- Powder finish are matte and semi- metallic. There is one unique palette and that is Tiramisu, which is an all matte palette; the rest have two semi- metals and 2 mattes, which I think is brilliant because it caters to a lot of taste plus allows me to create dimensional eyeshadow look.
