Happy 2022, Beshies! I know, this article was supposed to be posted last year, but so many things just happened. The holidays was such as blur and on top of work, I got really sick at the latter part of December that's why I wasn't able to publish this on time. But like what they say: 'tis better late than never!
So here's a round up of the best makeup and perfume products that I have tried last 2021. Let me know yours too!
BEST MAKEUP PRIMER: TOUCH IN SOL NO POREBLEM PRIMER
- A surprising discovery! This was sent to me last year by the distributors of Touch in Sol and Cica Repair in the Philippines. This smoothing primer helps give skin a very even, smooth surface and paves the way for a more flawless- looking makeup and it helps keep oil at bay for hours too. It doesn't feel clogging on the skin as well.
BEST CONCEALER: GRWM RADIANCE TINT
- GRWM Cosmetics by Mae Layug has released a very diverse concealer range called Radiance Tint; it's arguably the first most inclusive concealer range in the Philippines to date. Radiance Tint yields medium to full coverage and I love the smooth, very blendable formula and powdery matte finish; I just like the smooth finish I get from this concealer.

BEST LIQUID FOUNDATION: LAURA MERCIER FLAWLESS LUMIERE RADIANCE- PERFECTING FOUNDATION
- This foundation has re-awakened my love for the brand. This light to medium coverage foundation evens the skin nicely, feels fresh and light on the skin plus it doesn't transfer as much on face masks too, making it the perfect liquid foundation for face mask usage.

2. Nars Radiant Long-wear Foundation
BEST POWDER: INNISFREE X DINOTAENG NO SEBUM POWDER
- No Sebum Powder is one of my most- favorite setting powders and the Dinotaeng collab is such a feel- good formulation of this cult favorite by Innisfree; each Dinotaeng powder is dessert- scented and my most favorite is #03 Juicy Peach. It smells so good, looks so cute, but a beast at keeping makeup intact under face mask.

- Overall, I love this product's performance and how multitasking it is. It's great for everyday use, especially when you want to add a little more coverage to your skin, but without the heavy feel and dealing with liquid bases. It's best for moderately oily, normal, and dry skin types! I have rediscovered my love for this product in 2021 because it worked well with face masks; it feels very lightweight, but coverage is great!

2. Spotlight Primetime 2-Way Powder Foundation
BEST PALETTE: NARS FULL ACCESS CHEEK SET
- A beautiful limited edition palette with a great combination of blush, highlighter, and contour shades, I just love that Nars has added Laguna and Orgasm in this palette, two cheek products that I've been meaning to purchase last 2021. This is indeed one of the best palettes of 2021!

BEST TINT: READY SET GLOW MULTI-USE TINT
- This creamy face tint is ideal for eye and cheek use, and I'm telling you, this has crazy staying power! I've used this sans powder on top and it stayed and didn't transfer too much on my face mask. Amazing formula!

2. GRWM Aqua Tint
- Benefit The Porefessional Super Setter's makeup setting powers are awesome! Also, no break outs! Not really sure how the pore- blurring benefit works because I didn't really try to observe that-I'm after the makeup setting benefits. I mean, no one would really mind if your makeup is smooth or not because we're all hiding behind masks anyway. :D
If you're thinking of buying this setting spray, I suggest go for it because as you've seen, it works. This is best for quick trips outside and if you have moderately oily and dry skin (because the spray doesn't make my skin feel tight, therefore I think this is ideal for dry skin).

1. Essence Cosmetics Instant Matt Makeup Setting Spray
BEST EYESHADOW: REVLON COLORSTAY CREME SHADOW
- Very easy to use, pigmented, very easy to blend, and staying power is superb. Perfect for an instant online meeting or party or to perk up your lids for a daytime stroll or night out.

BEST EYELINER: Essence 24 ever Ink Liner
- This is a semi- long lasting eyeliner with great pigmentation, glides on easily, but the best part about this product is it seems to last forever! I've been using it for more than 5 months now and it still has a lot of product in it!

BEST BROW PRODUCT: BENEFIT BROW MICROFILLING PEN
- I'm pleased with Benefit's new product and I'm looking forward to buying this again because I like how easy and user- friendly it is plus the staying power is commendable; definitely handy for me especially since I always get sweaty and oily all over my face because of face mask usage. This is great for you if you want a foolproof brow product that will last the whole day, give you that naturally- full microbladed brows look, and will look good even if you only have 5 minutes to do your brows!

1. K-Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow Pen
2. Ready Set Glow Brow Tamer
BEST MASCARA: TOO FACED BETTER THAN SEX DOLL LASHES MASCARA
- Fluffy, voluminous lashes with good staying power. Now I know why this is one of the brand's best- selling products!
SPECIAL MENTION:
- This liquid lipstick is one of the rare, affordable ones that don't dry my lips out; I've worn it the whole day to a dinner and my lips did not flake and did not get irritated, plus it comes off easily with micellar water or any makeup remover.
I couldn't emphasize more, this liquid lipstick has a beautiful formula and I love that it's non- drying and feels very comfortable on the lips; my extremely sensitive lips love it and when I come across a rare find like this, I immediately file it under my favorites!
I recommend Stunning Icon (beautiful red!) and Fiery Star, If you're looking for a liquid lipstick that's affordable, very pigmented, has good staying power, and won't break the bank, check this out!

2. Wet N Wild Liquid Catsuit
- Overall, these are great, high quality brushes. And love that it's under P1,000 only! The smoothness of the brushes makes it ideal for those with sensitive skin and those who prefer the finish delivered by real animal bristles and want to transition into a cruelty- free option. I highly recommend this set if you're looking at buying your first makeup brush set or you want to replace your old one but without spending too much!

BEST FRAGRANCE: BYREDO BAL D'AFRIQUE EDP
- I've been into niche perfumery this 2021 because I have been looking for a new signature scent for day and night; I have found mine in Byredo's Bal D'Afrique EDP, an aromatic floral woody fragrance that reminds me so much of travel and all the good feelings it brings; it's a spontaneous, jovial, and carefree fragrance, and gives the vibe of a person who's open to adventures and seeking new opportunities.
