Hello! Welcome to one of my favorite blog posts to make each year and that is a yearly round up of the best beauty products that I have tried.
This year is a bit different because I'm not going to lie, I haven't used a lot of beauty products, most especially makeup, because of the current situation, but there are a few pieces that shone bright that proved to be perfect essentials in the new normal and beyond!
BEST PRIMER
WINNER PRIMER OF 2020: EB ADVANCE FIRST STEP MATTIFYING PRIMER
Smoothing, helps prolong makeup, and feels light on the skin. Plus points that it's very affordable too!

Overall, this is another great drugstore powder foundation that's below P1,000. Revlon Colorstay Powder Foundation is a good face base that can withstand face mask wear: it will give you all day coverage with minimal product transfer on masks!

BEST CONCEALER
WINNER CONCEALER: WET N WILD PHOTOFOCUS CONCEALER
A cult favorite among many Wet N Wild fans and I'm slapping myself right now for not trying it sooner! This concealer is affordable, but mighty good: has a semi- matte, opaque finish, good skin adherence, and lasts long. It's very pigmented that aside from being a concealer, I use it as a corrector too!

BEST FOUNDATION
WINNER FOUNDATION: WET N WILD PHOTOFOCUS FOUNDATION
Second slap for me LOL. Wet N Wild Photofocus foundation is not famous for nothing: this medium to full coverage foundation has superior blendability, great coverage, and amazing staying power. Finish is like an expensive foundation, specifically MAC Studio Fix!

BEST EYESHADOW
WINNER EYESHADOW: LETI SHA X GLAMSKIN SKIN EYESHADOW PALETTE
This collaboration between up-and-coming vlogger, Letisha Velasco and Glamskin called SKIN palette is a pigmented, mega eyeshadow palette with a great variety of neutrals for everyday and professional makeup looks. I specifically love that there's an effort to include different textures such as press- on glitter cream shadows and there are unique shades as well such as taupe, mushroom, and charcoal brown, shades that you don't normally see in affordable makeup palettes.

BEST EYELINER
I like the idea of colored liquid liners! When drawing, I prefer using liquid eyeliner because nothing beats the smoothness, plus it lets me draw more precise, thinner lines versus gel eyeliner. Also, there's a black shade in here so that's great! One caveat is the yellow shade doesn't appear too vibrant when applied on the lids; I hope they can make this a bit brighter.

BEST MASCARA

A wonder product that's worth looking at whenever you drop by 7-11 stores. This long- lasting mascara provides lush, long lashes and staying power is crazy good! It's very travel- friendly and one sachet will last 2-3 weeks even with everyday use.

BEST BROW PRODUCT
WINNER BROW PRODUCT: BENEFIT BROW ZINGS PRO PALETTE
A brow lover's must- have palette. This features three brow waxes, four powders, and four brushes. Great for traveling or if you love using different textures and achieving various looks with your brow.

BEST CHEEK PRODUCT
Even if the texture of the blushes are a bit dry due to their matte finish and I got a bit of fallout during swatching, I'm surprised at how easy to blend and buildable these blushes are. It also has a soft matte, second skin finish that makes it look so natural on me. As for staying power, this one stayed put. I wore it for 13 hours straight with no retouching on the blush and right before taking off my makeup, I have noticed that at least 50% of the blush still remained on my skin. No breakouts too!

WINNER MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY: SO NATURALS ALL DAY TIGHT MAKEUP SETTING FIXX
A lovely discovery! This was just sent to me and I have no idea what the brand is, but I ended up loving it! This minimizes makeup transfer on masks by up to 50% and I love the continuous spray effect of the atomizer; it also mattifies, keeps makeup on for almost the entire day, and minimizes oiliness!

BEST LIP PRODUCT
The lipsticks are indeed 90% transfer- proof! I wore this one time with a mask on and there was very minimal transfer on the mask. I also love that it has a non-drying formula; as in my lips did not crack and flake at all during wear!

Overall, these are awesome brushes! They're great for daily use and fairly affordable considering the quality and the fact that they're cruelty- free; I highly recommend these if you're looking for dependable (and chic!) daily makeup brushes that perform well. I wish they would release a set and I'm definitely looking forward to an eye collection!

...has a unique gel consistency; I actually like the formula because I can control the product more during application and tbh, it's much easier to spread and even out on the skin compared to watery stains; it's very pigmented and stains my fingers a whole lot, unfortunately. Staying power is pretty good on the cheeks; on the lips, it stays on until you eat.

BEST PERFUME

WINNER PERFUME: THE BODY SHOP POMEGRANATE AND RED BERRIES HAIR AND BODY MIST
A refreshing, energizing, chic fruity floral that isn't too teeny bopper and wearable even for titas like me! I love this the most for its powerful odor- reducing properties, but manages to stay light and pleasant to the sense.
