Here's the final installment of my much- awaited beauty wrap up of the year.
Skin Care has had a great moment in the spotlight last 2019; last year, a lot of people have been into skin care and according to brand forecasts, the trend will continue to rise this 2020. I'm so glad to know that my hard work as a beauty blogger has finally paid off LOL; I've been telling my readers since time immemorial that SKIN.CARE.MUST.BE.A.PRIORITY!
Without further ado, here are 39 of the best skin, hair, body care, and perfume products of 2019! Let's go!
BEST FACIAL CLEANSER OF 2019
- Instantly, my skin looks and feel refreshed, and livelier; this is why I love using this wash in the morning; it livens up my complexion and removes grime and excess skin care I have used the night before, resulting to fresh, glowing skin.
2. NEUTROGENA DEEP CLEAN FOAMING CLEANSER
- An affordable, deep cleansing facial wash that comes in a lot of variants; perfect for heavy makeup users; my favorite is the anti- acne version.
3. LUSH CUP O COFFEE
- It's actually a mask, but to me, it's a scrub; it's the grittiest mask that I have encountered that it's technically a scrub. But ain't that a good thing? It's a mask and scrub in one. This mask SMELLS.SO.GOOD. It's like a cup of fresh coffee with a dash of cream, as I've said in the beginning, and I can't stop sniffing it! It's thick and concentrated that you don't need a lot in every use. It's also an instagrammable mask!
4. ESFOLIO GREEN TEA PEELING GEL
- An affordable dupe for Cure Exfoliating Gel! This product has a lot of variants that infuse your skin either with moisturizing, antioxidant, or anti-aging properties aside from pure exfoliation; it's gentle on the skin as well!
- Formula is made with Moisclean, a combination of Hyaluronic Acid, Ginseng, and Horse Chestnut extracts that purify, exfoliate, hydrate, and brighten the skin. After rinsing, my face feels softer and looks brighter.
- My skin doesn't feel taut and dry after rinsing; I also love the scents of the variants. No breakouts or weird stuff that I have noticed with my skin during usage. I can't say though if this is low pH, which is ideal for the skin's health, but it's not a huge concern of mine anyway; regardless of the facial cleanser, I need something that cleans effectively, doesn't make my skin feel dry, and smells good. Esfolio Cleansing Foam is a good, nurturing facial wash for everyday use and there are a lot of variants available that you can choose from to address your skin needs.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser!
BEST TONER OF 2019
- This toner is such a difference maker! I've used this a week before using the rest of the Pixi's Glow Tonic products and I've noticed that my breakouts were starting to subside and that made me decide to use the rest of the products. I was surprised that this product has finally worked for me; I broke out in my first try 2 or 3 years ago.
- What I like most about AC Collection is it fights acne effectively and gently; perfect for those who have sensitive skin and just about anyone who dislikes the stinging, itchy, and peeling sensations that most anti- acne products give.
- Surprisingly, for a toner with alcohol, it doesn't sting nor feel dry on the skin AT ALL. The toner is clear with a lavender- scent and glowing bluish pigments at the bottom; these are the illuminating minerals; you have to shake the bottle before use to infuse the formula with the pigments and don't you worry, you won't look blue after using the product; what I got from it was my skin looked immediately more awake and brighter.

BEST MOISTURIZER OF 2019
- Lock The Moisture Stick is a clear stick with a fresh balm texture. It's pretty solid and doesn't feel as if it will melt if applied directly on the skin. It has a light floral scent. I love how portable and mess- free this product is, making it perfect for traveling. In fact, I brought this with me in my recent US trip as day moisturizer.
- The moisturizer has an interesting blue color; it immediately gives you the feeling that it's refreshing and soothing. It's a water- based moisturizer with the feel of watery gel; it's bouncy, spreads easily, and despite the watery formula, it doesn't feel that it evaporates right away, thanks to sodium hyaluronate; it has an aquatic floral scent that is uplifting and provides all day, lightweight moisture, making it perfect for oily skin types (even all skin types!).
- The gel said that it's supposed to maintain and restore the skin's pH balance so I put some on after cleansing my skin to immediately restore balance; whenever my skin is feeling significantly dry or just plain weird, I put this on as well and my face feels great again.
- Consistency is a goopy cream that deliver a fresh, watery burst of hydration as you work it on your skin; it's fragrance- free as well. A little goes a long way because it's pretty concentrated and I love the refreshing feeling I get from it every time I use it.
- Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream is the perfect moisturizer under makeup because not only does it instantly refines, smooths, and plumps the skin, it also makes makeup look better in general: better adherence, better finish. I highly recommend this product if you're looking for a moisturizer that does more than moisturize your skin or something to make you makeup look better on a daily basis!
- This product is a serum in gel form; consistency is watery gel, but it has a moisturizing, semi- emollient feel due to the encapsulated oils; it's like fresh oil, if you know what I mean. This product also doubles as a moisturizer.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream!
BEST MAKEUP REMOVER OF 2019
- Skinpotions Melt Away Marmalade Cleansing Jelly is affordable and has really good quality, plus free from a lot of chemicals that may hurt the skin. This is a great intro for those who are on a budget, but would like to get to know cleansing balms better!
- St. Ives Cleansing Stick is best for those who wear light to moderate makeup, especially for those who dread makeup removal at night because of the process that it entails. Finally, no reason to excuse ourselves anymore from wearing makeup or cleaning our face at night because St. Ives' ingenious cleansing stick is here to save the day, plus it's affordable too!
- With just a 5 peso- sized amount, I was able to get rid of an entire day's worth of makeup with very little trace left. This makes for a great first step in a double- cleansing routine because it develops into a milky cleanser when it comes into contact with water, giving it a mild washing effect.
- The oil, given its thickness, removes every trace of makeup effectively; I just use three pumps to remove everything from my face! I like that it moisturizes my skin and doesn't leave it dry after usage.

20. DRUNK ELEPHANT T.L.C. FRAMBOOS GLYCOLIC NIGHT SERUM
- The best anti- acne serum I have tried so far. This high concentration acid- based serum (12%) helps skin heal from acne by supporting natural turnover processes and it works as a spot treatment too; it's effective which way you use it!
- This is a rich, moisturizing eye cream that's perfect to use at night time. This is one of the products that I love from this line because it's so moisturizing and I wake up with refreshed eyes!
22. VOTARY BLEMISH RESCUE OIL
- A surprise discovery from Sephora.ph. This spot treatment has a high concentration of salicylic acid (2%), but it doesn't sting at all, thanks to the brilliant Tamanu oil base that immediately moisturizes the skin and prevents dryness and stinging due to the high SA content.
- The first three days with this product has been incredible: my skin looked brighter, felt buttery smooth, the tiny bumps went away, and completely tamed my breakouts!
24. ESFOLIO PURE SKIN SHEET MASKS (NOT IN PHOTO)
- After using this for months, my skin's moisture level has improved and I noticed that it was more plump, healthier- looking, and incredibly smoother; it's actually one of the sheet masks that had noticeable effects on me. My only issue is the sheet mask is a bit small for my face. There are other Esfolio variants that are more expensive than this one, but for starters and budget- savvy individuals, this is an equally good choice. Esfolio Pure Skin Sheet Mask is a value-for-money product: it's affordable, has the widest variety for an affordable line, and works!

25. CREAMSILK TRIPLE KERATIN HAIR MASK
- A super softening hair mask that immediately tames frizzies. Use it frequently and frizzy hair won't be your problem any longer, plus it's fairly affordable for a high quality mask!
- The shampoo has a semi- rich consistency, foams up well, and rinses out easily; it has a light summer floral fragrance. It's not as drying as commercial shampoo, but I'd still need a conditioner afterwards. I didn't notice if it reduces static and flyaway though. Before, I thought purple shampoo was just a fancy shampoo, but after experiencing how it has kept my blonde highlights blonde for quite some period of time, I now highly recommend it!
- The shampoo is a huge favorite of mine; it's a pearlized formula that doesn't leave my hair too coarse nor dry. The conditioner is good as well, surprisingly, despite the fact that it doesn't contain a ton of synthetic softeners.
- I leave it on for 3 minutes as instructed and after rinsing, my hair magically becomes super soft and silky; best part is the hair mask is fairly easy to rinse despite the rich consistency; it's even easier to rinse than most conditioners and masks.
29. LUSH HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY CONDITIONER (NOT IN PHOTO)
- I wanted to hate this product because it is not conditioning in any way; it's made with runny, superbly light almond milk which does not condition my hair in any way, but man, it smells AMAZING! It's a concoction of orange flower, neroli, and rose extracts and it instantly puts you in a good mood! The scent lasts the whole day and is pretty strong, but I don't find it offensive! I actually love the fragrance and I couldn't stop myself from sniffing my hair when I use it. That said, I forgive the non- conditioning bit!
30. LUSH H'SUAN WEN HUA HAIR MASK (NOT IN PHOTO)
- This is a very runny cream; I normally put this on my scalp to clear build- up and apply some on the rest of my hair because eggs are good for the hair because it gives it a fluffy feel. It's also not softening at all, but I could let that pass because my hair feels truly refreshed after using it.
- This hair mask has a rich, creamy consistency. It also smells so good; like creamy, floral vanilla, and rinses off easily leaving hair with good volume, bounce, softness, and shine.

BEST BODY CARE PRODUCTS OF 2019
- Skin So Good is a light, milky emulsion with a bubblegum floral scent that smells so nice; it smells so nice and my husband loves getting close whenever I have it on. The scent reminds me of another product too that I can't recall right now. It's also perfect for daily use since it has SPF 30. I love this particular variant because my skin feels bouncy and super smooth the next day.
- Consistency is whipped, creamy, and runny so it will be spreadable. It is very gritty indeed! I only need a small amount to cover portions of my legs; that gritty texture plus spreadability makes it an economical product. More things to love about this product: easy to rinse out, leaves skin smooth and fragrant after shower, and the moisturizing cream offsets the oftentimes drying effect of exfoliation.
34. AMAZING MAUI BABE BROWNING LOTION
- A lusciously- scented tanning lotion made with natural ingredients; I tan easily, ergo lesser sun damage when I'm using this one! No wonder it's a very popular tanning product!
- The body wash is rich and silky, and completely moisturizing; a little goes a long way and it produces a rich, frothy foam with a moisturizing feel and my skin doesn't feel dry after shower!

- The fragrance vividly reminds me of Miss Dior Cherie L'Eau, one of the nicest variants of Miss Dior perfumes; White floral and green notes with a hint of mint, and a dry down of musk; it's elegant, confident yet unassuming, happy, and youthfully feminine. I've had no luck with staying power with most local perfumes that I have tried, but this one surprisingly held up! I can still smell it on me 3 hours after spraying and it's the kind that sits nicely on the skin, at least to me.
- How does this fragrance impact the mood? Happy Lemon Dulci is comprised of ingredients that are called the "antidepressants of nature" such as Lemon, citrus oils, and fresh leaves; I get how these fruits and plants are called as such because seeing lots of greenery when I'm in nature just calms my mind and citrus oils are known in aromatherapy as mood lifters and boosters. No wonder this fragrance makes me feel happy, calm, and generally, I'm in a good mood whenever I have this on. Longevity is pretty good: it stays on for about 4 hours before I have to retouch the fragrance.
- The fragrance is a heady mix of white flowers; the moment you take a whiff, the imagery of a huge bouquet of white flowers will instantly flash in your head; after a few seconds, the fragrance dries down into a soft, powdery floral and remains this way all throughout. It's pretty, classy, and heartwarming at the same time; that said, that makes Gucci Bloom EDP a great wedding perfume.
- I love the fresh-musky opening; it's energizing and pretty at the same time. Afterwards, the fragrance settles into a bright, lingering floral base that smells like white flowers and rose

Before I used to bath really fast but after buying my first box (after reading your blog about it) I fell in love with bath time. Now its become my me time, relaxation time. I pour it on my hands and immediately im relaxed by the scent of the lavender variant! The rose variant made hubby time better too 💜
